Byway Bakers Cheongsa Main Branch became known for its Wakppu balls and is now also famous for Wakppu salt bread. Since they make it with fresh fruit, it is hugely popular with kids too ✨️

The assorted desserts I picked in store

There were so many kinds of desserts inside, and the Wakppu salt bread was definitely the first thing to catch my eye 👏 It was colorfully and beautifully packaged, and being made with fresh fruit made it even more tempting 👀

The refrigerator held desserts that need chilling, including peach cake, Dujjonku, Dubai chocolate salt bread, and castella salt bread. Dujjonku was on a 2+1 deal, so the magic is that buying just 4 gets you 6 😋

There was Wakppu salt bread too, and it looked so good that I bought a fresh blueberry yogurt Wakppu salt bread. With flavors such as fresh peach yogurt and fig basque cheesecake, it is easy to choose whatever suits your taste 👋

There were all sorts of desserts, from milk bread and financiers to salt bread, butter rice cakes, and egg tarts; just choose what you like and a staff member will take it out for you. It is known for salt bread, but the milk bread is seriously great too, so I really recommend trying it!

Financiers and salt bread were also sold as gift-friendly sets in 5-piece, 10-piece, and 4-piece packages. Buying a set costs a little less, so I definitely recommend getting a set 👍 They also sell cakes, with several cute birthday candles ready for you to choose from 🙌

Drinks at Byway Bakers are reasonably priced too, so I recommend packing up a drink if you are having one with dessert 👏

True to its name, I got the satisfying experience of breaking open the Wakppu salt bread with my hands. Made with fresh blueberries and yogurt, it was packed with yogurt and blueberries inside 🙌 There were blueberries throughout the salt bread too, so I think it would be lovely for fruit lovers needing a sweet sugar boost 🫶
