Finding the 2nd-floor restaurant
Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is on the 2nd floor, and the sign really stands out, so it wasn't hard to find!

Once you come through the entrance of the YnK Building, there's an elevator right there — just go up one floor and you're at the door!
Inside the restaurant and how the conveyor belt works
The interior was very clean and spacious, and there were quite a few solo diners eating alone. Whether you're on a date or with family, at ₩1,990 a plate it's cheap for conveyor-belt sushi, so it looked like an easy place to eat without worrying about the bill.
Once you sit down, they bring you miso soup as a default. If you need more, just ask the staff!
Conveyor-belt sushi rules
- Don't put a plate you've already picked up back on the belt
- If you want something specific, order it directly from the chef
- Ask staff if you need vinegar sauce or more miso soup
- Stack up your wooden trays, stone plates, and sushi plates separately, and staff will clear them regularly
There's basic soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger, and rakkyo (pickled shallots) at the table.

Sushi Ian N also offers takeout, and the assorted sushi set looked pretty good haha.
Sushi menu and lunch discount

Can you believe that every single sushi on the menu board above is ₩1,990 a plate, near Seolleung Station in Seoul?

During lunch hours from 11:20 to 15:00, udon and cold soba — both of which pair well with sushi — get discounted to ₩2,500 and ₩2,900 respectively!

What we picked off the belt together
First up, cheese egg nigiri — there's no wasabi inside Sushi Ian N's sushi, so you have to add it yourself to taste!
Beef tartare tadaki nigiri and beef tartare (yukhoe) nigiri! If you like meat-based sushi, this is a flavor anyone can enjoy.

Woo samgyeop (beef belly) bossam nigiri and tamago woo samgyeop nigiri! The sweet, soft flavor of the tamago (egg) blended surprisingly well with the savory richness of the beef belly, and the woo samgyeop bossam nigiri was topped with Korean-style bossam kimchi for extra depth.

Flounder nigiri and eel nigiri! The freshwater eel nigiri had a sweet sauce that matched the soft eel nicely, and the flounder nigiri had a thick slice of raw flounder on top with a clean, chewy classic flavor.

Squid nigiri and flounder fin nigiri! The flounder fin's chewy texture and nutty flavor got more delicious with every bite, so I ordered it twice — the squid nigiri had a clean, simple taste.

Sweet shrimp and monkfish liver nigiri with gamtae (seaweed) and monkfish liver, and whelk nigiri! The sweet, soft flavor of the shrimp combined with the rich, savory taste of the monkfish liver, plus the fragrant scent of the gamtae, gave a range of flavors in one bite. The whelk nigiri was bouncy and chewy.

Monkfish liver seaweed roll nigiri, and truffle flounder negi nigiri! The monkfish liver seaweed roll nigiri combined the savory flavor of the seaweed roll with the soft, rich taste of the monkfish liver really well. The truffle flounder negi nigiri hit with an intense truffle aroma from the first bite.

Red sea bream maskawa nigiri and red sea bream belly nigiri! The red sea bream belly and maskawa nigiri both had a chewy yet soft texture from the first bite.
Tuna cheek nigiri! I enjoyed the clean, rich flavor unique to tuna, very satisfying.

After eating well and filling up, here's proof shot of the stacked-up sushi plates haha.
Final verdict
