Today's post is about a visit to Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station because I was craving sushi near Seolleung Station 🍽️ Above all, a flat ₩1,990 per plate of sushi! I loved that I could try lots of different kinds without worrying about the price haha ㅎㅎ

What's the vibe like inside?
🍣 Once you walk in, plates of sushi keep circling along the conveyor rail. Since so many offices are around Seolleung Station, there must be a lot of people looking for a place to eat alone at lunchtime, and this looked like a great solo-lunch spot near Seolleung Station 👍

The menu and the ₩1,990 flat price
🍣 Sushi Ian N's biggest strength is definitely the price! A flat ₩1,990 per sushi plate ❗️ From familiar options like flounder, salmon, and shrimp to flounder fin, eel, scallop, tuna, beef, sweet shrimp, and sea urchin — the variety was really impressive 🤤 There were also gunkan and roll types, plus noodles and desserts, so it was easy to pick according to taste haha

What if the sushi you want isn't on the rail?
💡 If there's a sushi you want but it's not on the conveyor rail, you don't have to just wait! Tell the chef in front of you what you want and they'll prepare it. I mostly picked what I wanted this way, and it was much more convenient to just request the menu directly.
Five sushi I ate that day
🍣 What I ate that day: seasoned sea bream belly sushi / eel sushi / flounder fin sushi / sweet shrimp with sea urchin / salmon sushi, and more. Instead of eating a lot of one kind, I tried a bit of each 🤤

Seasoned sea bream belly sushi
🐟 A dish where the soft texture of sea bream is elevated with seasoning — delicious! Unlike a plain white-fish sushi, the seasoning brought out even more umami haha. There was a nutty flavor too, and it was just so good..👍

Flounder fin sushi
🐟 Recommended if you like flounder fin!! Compared to regular flounder, it's chewier with a much stronger nutty flavor that gets better the more you chew. It's light but has great texture, so I kept reaching for more.

Sweet shrimp with sea urchin on laver sushi
🍣 A sushi where you get the sweetness of sweet shrimp and the rich flavor of sea urchin all at once 🥹 The soft sweet shrimp with the nutty sea urchin melted in my mouth haha. Being able to get a dish like this at a ₩1,990 flat-price conveyor-belt sushi place is honestly touching..

Eel sushi
🍣 The sweet and savory eel sauce pairs really well with the rice, and eating one in between mostly raw-fish sushi hit just right haha

Salmon sushi
🧡 You've gotta have the classic salmon sushi haha. Soft texture with that distinct nutty salmon flavor came through nicely 🤤 It's a crowd-pleaser that's easy to enjoy, so if you like salmon, grab one haha

Noodles and highballs beyond the sushi
🍜 It's not just sushi — side dishes are also available ❗️ From noodles like udon and cold soba to desserts, so it's easy to add something if you feel like sushi alone wasn't quite enough. There was also the new tonkotsu ramen for ₩8,900, which I'd like to try next time 🍽️
🍹 There are also plenty of highball flavors — grapefruit, blue lemon, earl grey, mojito, original, and more — so it looks like a nice option for a light drink alongside sushi in the evening haha

Is it okay to bring kids?
👶 There's also a service for those visiting with children. 🍅 For elementary school age and under, staff will provide free fries and ketchup on request!! High chairs are also available, so it's a good spot for a family meal too 👍
