Today I've got a story about CURRY146 Gangnam Branch (커리146 강남점), which has become famous for Indian curry near Seolleung Station! As soon as I walked in, the spacious wooden tables and warm lighting caught my eye 🤎

The seating is arranged nicely too, from solo-dining spots to group tables, so it works well for office workers' lunches near Seolleung, and it wouldn't feel out of place for a dinner date or a pre-wedding gathering either 👍🏻

Every table has a tablet for ordering, so I could browse the menu slowly and pay easily too!

Menu structure — every curry comes as a set

We ordered makhani curry and masala curry, and added tandoori chicken as a topping! Every curry at CURRY146 Gangnam Branch comes as a set — Indian curry + salad + organic naan + turmeric rice, all together haha

And if you run out of turmeric rice while eating, they refill it for free, unlimited times hahaha. Boss, do you have enough to spare, huh?

Oh, and you can also change it to spicy! But if you switch to spicy, they really make it a very spicy curry, so be careful hahaha

Makhani curry — plenty of vegetables even without toppings

My favorite, makhani curry!! I didn't add any other toppings to the makhani curry, but even without choosing toppings, it came piled generously with potatoes, broccoli, bell peppers, onions and other vegetables! Haha the moment it arrived, that smell — what am I supposed to do with this?! It already smelled like a proper must-visit restaurant!

The salad that came with it was also so, so fresh, and the dressing was genuinely delicious, ugh

Sweet yet smooth and creamy — a curry with zero pickiness that literally anyone can enjoy without complaint! Tear off a piece of the chewy, nicely browned organic naan, dip it deep into the curry sauce, and one whole naan disappears just like that

Masala curry topped with the ₩5,500 tandoori chicken

And then came the masala curry + tandoori chicken topping option! The masala curry with the tandoori chicken topping added — isn't the visual just amazing..?!

Wait, it's only ₩5,500 and you get a whole piece of tandoori chicken this big on top?!

The big, nicely browned tandoori chicken with that charcoal-grilled aroma was crispy outside and juicy inside, and it paired insanely well with the smooth curry sauce 😭💖 This is a combo you absolutely have to add!!

The masala curry had a slight spicy kick!! It went perfectly with the makhani curry we also ordered. Savory > spicy > savory > spicy, on repeat hahaha. Mixed into the turmeric rice, dipped into the naan, and refreshed in between with the tangy salad — I ended up finishing every last bite without ever getting tired of it
