Did you all know there was a street like this right in front of Sindorim Station? Honestly, I only found it by accident while passing through~ The first floor of the building right outside the station is packed wall-to-wall with jokbal (pig's trotter) and bossam (boiled pork wraps) specialty restaurants. And out of that whole row, there was exactly one place absolutely stuffed with customers — and that was this spot! If you're hunting for a Sindorim jokbal-bossam restaurant, you need to bookmark this one. Let's dig in properly today!
Why was only this place packed in the whole jokbal alley?

The moment I walked in I thought, "ah, people aren't coming here for no reason." It looked like an ordinary neighborhood restaurant, but it was so full I could barely find an empty seat. On this whole street, this was the one place with zero gaps.
The set was ₩51,000, but thinking about everything included, I felt like it was actually a pretty good deal~
What's in the Sambaekjokbal kalguksu set
Sindorim's must-try kalguksu (hand-cut noodle soup) plus meat — the combo is honestly amazing.

The first thing to arrive after ordering was a cold appetizer. Turns out it's complimentary. The tangy, refreshing seasoning woke up my appetite right away. "This place is seriously good," I thought!

For side dishes, you get napa cabbage kimchi, radish strips, chive salad, and lettuce wraps, plus young radish kimchi at the self-serve bar.

When you order the set, barley rice is also free, and they bring it out for you to mix with the young radish kimchi. I mixed it up while waiting, and honestly, it was ridiculously good. Just pure rice-thief material.

They told me the napa cabbage kimchi is a same-day fresh kimchi made with persimmon, and the natural sweetness of the fruit really came through — no fishy sauce smell, just clean and genuinely delicious~
Odorless yakgam pork

While I was eating the barley rice and waiting, the main set arrived. My first impression was honestly amazing — there was zero meat smell. You'd expect at least a slight gamey odor typical of this kind of dish, but this place was completely clean. The texture was tender with the grain still intact, melting away without needing to force a chew. I tried it wrapped in lettuce and also dipped in salted shrimp sauce, and both worked perfectly. The salted shrimp combo especially tied everything together — I understood exactly why this was the only packed place on the whole street.

They told me the pork was yakgam pork, raised on dried persimmon feed, and that explained why it felt different from other places somehow. The difference started right from the feed!
Finished off with 100% fresh hand-cut kalguksu

Midway through the meal, Sindorim's must-try kalguksu comes out. The noodles are 100% fresh, hand-cut — not the store-bought dried kind — so they're bouncy and chewy. The broth is clean yet rich, without being greasy. Finishing off the meat with this made for a completely perfect spread.
What made this place stand out on service
Honestly, I was on medication that day so I couldn't drink alcohol. But even without it, I ate so well and left so happy. I kept wondering how much better it would've been with a drink, which just makes me more excited for my next visit. Repeat visit confirmed, no question!
Turns out there's a reason the most packed place in the jokbal alley is packed.
If you ever find yourself in Sindorim, definitely stop by~ You won't regret this set combination at all.
