Gangnam hair salon inner clinic for swim-damaged hair: Beorn Hair

Between getting a perm, straightening, and swimming 5 days a week on top of it, my hair had genuinely become extremely damaged. I knew I couldn't leave it like this, so I went to get an inner clinic treatment at Beorn Cheongdam, a hair salon near Gangnam-gu Office Station.

I booked ahead on Naver, and Chief Designer Hanna took care of my clinic treatment!

The before and after difference is huge, right? Beorn Hair has three types of clinics, and Chief Designer Hanna recommended the inner clinic as the best fit for someone with extremely damaged hair like me.

Why this was the most comfortable of the Cheongdam salons I've tried

I've been to several salons around Cheongdam, and out of all of them, this was by far the friendliest and most comfortable.

The moment I walked in, the staff all greeted me with smiles and got me seated quickly. The consultation about the clinic was really thorough too, which I appreciated.

The whole space is done up in green, and honestly it felt like my eyes got to rest and heal a little in there.

They started with a hair consultation, then explained the clinic treatment.

As soon as I sat down, they explained in detail exactly what order the treatment would go in that day, and every time we moved to a new step, they told me what was happening and how long it would take — so I could even estimate when I'd be done. That made me feel much more at ease.

I got to relax with a warm cup of tea and some snacks during the treatment. Even while I was seated, they had a charger, magazines, tea, and snacks ready for me, so the waiting never got boring at all. When I asked about wifi, the designer connected it for me herself, which felt incredibly kind.

The shampoo came in two steps: first a scalp shampoo, then a detox shampoo. In the detox step, they removed the buildup of scalp flakes and even the pool chlorine that had accumulated in my hair — and that process felt amazingly refreshing. My hair even felt a bit lighter afterward.

What impressed me most about this whole clinic was the spa room. I've been to plenty of salons, but this was the first time I ever got a massage lying down while getting a clinic treatment at the same time.

Next came the high-molecular and low-molecular clinic treatments applied separately, followed by steam and heat to pack the ingredients deep into the cuticle.

While I lay back comfortably getting a refreshing massage, they sealed the cuticle they'd just packed full of ingredients, applied a scalp clinic ampoule, and finished with a scalp and neck massage that felt amazing — and that wrapped up the clinic. I was almost sad it was ending, hahaha.

From unbrushable to silky smooth: the clinic results

Once the whole treatment was done, it was genuinely surprising — hair that used to refuse a comb had turned into soft, silky strands that combed through effortlessly. From the service to the quality of the treatment, this clinic was really satisfying overall.

If you're like me and your hair is extremely damaged from perms, straightening, swimming, or all of it combined, I really think you'll be happy with the Beorn Cheongdam inner clinic :)

Booking, hours, and location

Chief Designer Hanna is off on Tuesdays, and once a Naver reservation is confirmed, you can just show up at that time slot — no need to double-check with the salon, which made things easy.

They did tell me I should skip swimming for about a day after the treatment, but that felt like an easy trade-off. It's been a week now and my hair is still holding onto that shine really well.

Keeping up with hair care consistently like this really seems to matter. It was such a refreshing change of pace and honestly a lot of fun. Everyone was so kind and I'm happy with the clinic results, so this is a Gangnam-gu Office Station hair salon I'd love to visit again. If you're struggling with your hair, I'd definitely recommend it.
