I visited today because I heard there's a famous hair salon in Cheonho! I booked through Naver Reservation first, and apparently if you get designer Taeri, you get 30% off!!

There's also a basic 10% discount, so keep that in mind before you go!

It's in this building! I got a little confused and wandered around, but it turned out to be on the 1st floor, though it felt like the 2nd.

Even just from the outside, you could tell the salon was clean and tidy.

What was the atmosphere like inside?

When I walked in, a staff member greeted me kindly. The salon was really big, split into two sides.

When I came in, I sat here for a bit and got to order tea? haha

And then I sat here and talked about styles. I wanted a style that would really suit me, so I didn't bring a reference photo...hahaha. So I went with the photo designer Taeri showed me.

From shampoo to the cut

First, my hair got washed. The person doing it was really careful and gentle, so it was so comfortable. haha

After washing, here's my before!! My hair was really so long, right...? I've basically lived a short-hair life, but I got lazy about going to the salon and it ended up like this;;

First they got ready to cut my hair. After the cut, it was about this length!!

Mid-length perm on straight hair: how did the curl turn out?

Then they rolled something into my hair.

They also gave me tea and snacks. (Great for passing the time❤️)

After that, they rinsed it out and rolled it again. This time it was rolled up a lot more.

My hair is really, really straight, but with the perm, some curl actually formed.

They ran the machine for about 20 minutes and then unrolled it, and it was way more rolled up than I expected so I was startled for a second;; but thankfully, after one rinse, the curl set nicely.

Here's how it looked falling naturally!! And that's how my roughly two-and-a-half-hour salon session wrapped up.
