The four breads I picked

Now let me introduce the breads I picked today~ They were the handmade red bean cream bun, Napjjak-i, Basil Tomato, and Devil Bread.

Handmade red bean cream bun packed with cream

Just looking at it, it seemed so fluffy~ This handmade red bean cream bun is sprinkled with black sesame seeds! Cut it in half and it is absolutely full of soft cream! It is not overly sweet, and the little red bean pieces popping up in each bite are so appealing.

There is so much cream, but it is not rich or heavy at all—it is soft and simply melts away in your mouth. The subtle sweetness of the red beans and the soft cream were the best combination!! I regretted buying only one... 😭😭

Napjjak-i, filling enough for a meal

Napjjak-i bread is known for its flat shape! It contains salami, Gouda, cream cheese, and tomato. The salty salami, rich Gouda, and soft cream cheese meet tangy tomato in such a beautifully balanced combination..

It is substantial enough for a meal and perfect as a snack, too. It is a generous size, so one is very filling! 😋

Basil Tomato bread that children enjoy too

Basil Tomato bread has a lovely waft of basil fragrance! It is a wholesome meal bread combining basil, tomato, and Emmental cream cheese. The tangy tomato, fragrant basil, and soft, rich Emmental cream cheese go together so well.

It is an appealing bread with a mild yet rich flavor that keeps you reaching for more. The basil flavor is not too strong, so children enjoy it too^^

Introducing Basil Tomato bread and Devil Bread

Devil Bread with chewy glutinous-rice cake

Devil Bread catches your eye with its distinctive black appearance! It is topped with nutty walnuts, while the inside holds chewy glutinous-rice cake and cream cheese.

One bite gives you a crisp, nutty exterior, then incredibly chewy glutinous-rice cake and soft cream cheese inside—such an addictive texture. I tasted a sample, loved it so much, and picked it right away^^ haha

With the nutty walnuts added too, both the texture and flavor are perfect! Just like its name, it has a charm you cannot escape once you try it 😈💜

Final thoughts

This is a place where you can feel the care put into every single bread. They are generous with the ingredients, and I could taste the care in everything, so I enjoyed it very much. Next time, I will definitely come back to buy some of the other breads too^^ If you are looking for a Pyeongchon bakery or bread shop, I really recommend it 💛
