Cheonan café for Earl Grey canelé and milk tea: Brewers Coffee

It had been a while since I last had a delicious lunch with a friend in Sinbu-dong. Then we headed straight to Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, one of Sinbu-dong’s cafés known for coffee and desserts!

Cheonan’s Sinbu-dong is famous for its food alley, but there are not many places to park, so I hesitate when driving there. But Brewers Coffee has Sinbu Public Parking Lot 4 right next door. The first 30 minutes are free, then it’s ₩200 for every 10 minutes after that! Haha, it’s incredibly affordable for a public lot, right? After our meal and coffee time at Brewers, ours came to ₩1,200 for around an hour and a half, haha.

Vintage interior and comfortable seating

As you enter the café, white brick, wood materials, and black furniture come together naturally. Various framed pictures and posters hang on the walls, with vintage accessories dotted around, so it was fun just looking about. The large B logo especially caught my eye—it seemed to show Brewers Coffee’s own character. It feels a little different from the clean, simple cafés you see everywhere these days, so it was great for photos too.

There were different kinds of tables, making it a nice place to come alone for coffee or chat with friends. The space did not feel cramped, and the tables were spaced nicely, so it was easy to spend time comfortably.

An outdoor terrace for fine-weather days

There is an outdoor terrace here too. Tables and chairs sit beneath a black canopy alongside lots of green plants, making it a lovely place to drink coffee outside on a nice day. If you are looking for a café in Sinbu-dong, Brewers Coffee—with both indoor seating and an outdoor terrace—really feels like the one.

A menu with coffee-bean notes and lots of desserts

Brewers Coffee has such a wide-ranging menu. There are so many tempting choices, including espresso, Americano, flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, and affogato!! Best of all, the menu lists notes on the beans alongside each option’s characteristics, such as Table Talk, Early Morning, and decaf, so coffee lovers will probably enjoy choosing their beans. There were truly lots of desserts too, from lemon madeleines to financiers. Here is what we ordered!

How the Brewers Coffee and Earl Grey canelé tasted

Brewers Coffee is their signature drink, with the B logo on top of the cream. It was described as a sweet mocha base topped with smooth almond cream, and since it is a representative menu item you can only taste at Brewers, I think it would be great to order on your first visit, haha. I do not like things that are too sweet, but this was just right—so delicious^^

My friend ordered the salted caramel milk tea too, and the satisfaction level was 200% as expected. And the Earl Grey canelé—this was the real deal. The real deal!!! There are many different canelés, so my friend and I promised that next time we would order every other canelé, plus madeleines and financiers, one by one. Haha.

Brewers Coffee has a varied coffee menu and lots of desserts, so choosing was part of the fun. Above all, the vintage interior was memorable, and the indoor and outdoor spaces each had a different atmosphere.
