What I personally liked this time was the consultation with Hyunbin. Instead of jumping straight into the clinic, he carefully looked over the current state of my hair first.

He asked how often I use a dryer or flat iron, checked my perm and dye history, and paid close attention to the ends where the damage had really built up. My hair turns out to be drier and more damaged toward the ends than it looks from the outside, so we decided to focus the care there.

Rather than just piling on extra treatments, he explained exactly what my hair needed, which made it easy to trust him from the start.

He explained what was happening at each stage along the way, and gave extra attention to the damaged ends I was most worried about.

He also kept checking in to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable or too hot during the clinic, so it felt relaxed the whole time.

And personally, my favorite part was the shampoo space! Lying back comfortably in a massage chair while getting my hair cared for felt like a little rest stop in the middle of the clinic.

Before the treatment, the ends were frizzy and everything looked dry overall, so wearing my hair down felt awkward. After the clinic, the first thing I noticed was that my hair overall felt calm and settled.

Running my hand through it, it glided down more smoothly than before, and it picked up a natural shine in the light — it looked neat even without extra styling effort. Comparing the before-and-after photos, the change in the frizzy ends was especially clear and satisfying.
