When you're looking for a place near Chungbuk National University where you can eat a meal and have a café stop all in one, it can be a letdown how limited the menus often are. Eopcheonri382 Chungbuk National University Branch really isn't like that — poke, sandwiches, tortilla wraps, drinks, the menu is huge, so it was fine to go with people who have different tastes.

This time I ordered a bulgogi sandwich, grapefruit ade, a hori smoked poke salad and a salmon tortilla wrap. There were so many options that it actually took me a while to decide, so if it's your first visit, I'd recommend checking the menu ahead of time.

This time I also ordered a grapefruit ade, and the tangy drink went really well with the sandwich.

Hori smoked poke salad: how were the vegetables and sauce?

The menu item I tried for the first time on this visit was the hori smoked poke salad. I like poke in general so I was curious, and above all, the vegetables were really fresh and delicious.

Sauce is one thing that quietly matters when ordering poke. Some places give you so little sauce that you end up having to order more. Eopcheonri382, though, gave a pretty generous amount, so I never felt short on sauce while eating.

In fact I had a bit of sauce left over. If you like your poke with plenty of sauce, this should be satisfying.

I also ordered a salmon tortilla wrap, which was different enough from the poke that sharing a few dishes worked well. With so many menu options, there's the fun of trying something different on a future visit rather than just going once.

The bulgogi sandwich was so big I didn't think I could finish it, so I ate half of the salmon wrap and half the bulgogi sandwich, and packed the rest to take home for dinner!!👍☺️

More than anything, the strength of Eopcheonri382 Chungbuk National University Branch is that it's not a place built around one specialty dish — you can pick whatever you're in the mood for that day from poke, sandwiches, wraps and drinks.
