Masian Beach breakfast burger and quesadilla, Yeongjong: Masian 300

There are a lot of great restaurants around Masian Beach on Yeongjong Island, Incheon. After a good night's sleep at a pension, I headed to Masian 300, famous for its burgers.

Arriving at Masian 300: first impressions and parking

Masian 300 is located at 300 Masiran-ro, Yeongjong-gu, Incheon, right in front of Masian Beach. I arrived around 11am on a weekday, and parking was easy thanks to the private lot, with the restaurant nice and quiet.

It's known as a burger spot on Yeongjong's Masian Beach. Handmade burgers do cost more than regular ones, but you can taste that it's worth it.

Seating at Masian 300: ocean-view windows and dog-friendly outdoor tables

Masian 300 is a dog-friendly restaurant on Yeongjong. There's an indoor hall, but with plenty of outdoor tables, it's great to visit with your cute pups too — a good pick if you're looking for a pet-friendly place near Masian.

The space felt clean but vintage — exactly the current vibe. After staying overnight in Eulwangni or Wangsan, I usually end up eating kalguksu (noodle soup) the next day. But this was my first time having a burger for breakfast near Masian, and it was surprisingly refreshing — I'd like to make burger breakfasts a habit from now on.

Looking out the window, it's all ocean view — a big window with lush pine trees, and the beach visible behind them. Starting a leisurely weekday morning with a burger in the ocean-view seats? Not bad at all.

There's also space to eat outdoors. On nice days like these, catching a cool breeze outside beats sitting inside. There are plenty of good outdoor spots — eating a burger at one of the outdoor tables is heaven.

Is Masian 300 good with kids?

Outside at Masian 300, there's even a Halloween-themed photo spot. Nice for adults, but really great for taking pictures of the little ones.

There's a hammock for kids to use, and chalk for drawing on the wall. Seems like a great burger spot on Yeongjong for making precious memories with the kids outdoors.

I wrapped up a happy trip to Yeongjong with a delicious meal. Surprisingly satisfying way to end things — I'd recommend it as a Yeongjong breakfast option.

Chicken quesadilla, 14,900 won: portion size and Mexican spice

Masian 300's chicken quesadilla is ₩14,900, and it's good value. Thicker than I expected a quesadilla to be — aren't they usually thinner?

Anyway, the portion was generous, which made it very satisfying. When visiting with family, ordering one quesadilla and having everyone take a bite is still pretty filling.

The crunchy vegetables were great, and the sauce was really tasty. It had that distinctive Mexican aroma with a touch of spice. A quesadilla really has to be chicken — the chicken, sauce, and vegetables were a perfect match.

That Mexican aroma, which I hadn't experienced in a while, might get me hooked on Mexican food again.

Hawaiian BBQ burger, 14,900 won: the patty and the sauce

Masian 300's Hawaiian BBQ burger is ₩14,900 and I genuinely, strongly recommend it. It was so, so good. People keep coming back to Masian 300 for the burgers here, and I fully got why once I tasted it.

The well-toasted bun alone was genuinely delicious — not tough at all, wonderfully soft bread. The patty was really tasty too, with zero gamey meat smell, almost like a hambak steak (Korean-style Salisbury steak). It wasn't heavy, just fluffy and so good.

The cheese and patty paired well together, and the grilled onions and pineapple took the flavor up another notch. This handmade burger spot on Yeongjong really knows how to nail a sauce, too — even the burger sauce tasted amazing. A genuinely delicious burger.

Is this what an American-style burger tastes like? I'm really glad I made it out to Masian 300, the go-to burger spot near Masian. Next time I stay overnight on Yeongjong, breakfast is definitely going to be another handmade burger.
