Hawaiian BBQ burger for hangover cure at Masian 300, Yeongjong
In short
Masian 300 is an ocean-view burger restaurant right across from Masian Beach on Yeongjong Island, Incheon. After a hotel staycation with a friend, the writer had the Hawaiian BBQ burger, Masian B.L.T, and garlic butter fries as a hangover cure, and the smoky handmade patty and garlic sauce stood out. Parking is spacious and there's a campsite-style front yard, making it an easy add-on stop for a day trip.

I went to Yeongjong Island with a friend for the first time in a while. We caught up on gossip during a hotel staycation, and the next day, wondering what to eat, we headed to Masian 300, a handmade burger place on Yeongjong Island.
This neighborhood is near my parents' place, so I've been here a ton, but this was the first time I discovered a handmade burger spot with such an exotic vibe. It felt like stepping into a totally different town, and it's an ocean-view restaurant too. Let me run through everything — from the parking situation to what I ordered.
Masian 300

Location and exotic exterior of Masian 300
Masian 300 sits near the far end of Yeongjong Island. Seonnyeobawi Rock and Eulwangni Beach are both nearby, so it's a good light stop before or after a day trip around the area. The exotic feel of the exterior, right in front of the sea, really delivers as an ocean-view restaurant.

Is parking spacious enough?
Don't worry about parking. These days, parking stress is a low-key issue no matter where you go, but Masian 300's lot is right beside the building and fairly large, which was great. My friend and I each drove separately, and there was plenty of room for both cars.

Usually when people mention good restaurants around here, it's seafood stew, grilled shellfish, or kalguksu (noodle soup), but this place is already famous as a handmade burger spot on Yeongjong Island. It's rated around 4.8 on Naver Place, which is pretty high. It was raining the day I went, but on a nice day, it seemed like it'd be romantic to get takeout and set up chairs right on the beach.

There's also a campsite-style space off to one side, and once the weather cools down, eating outside there seems like it'd feel like a proper outing.

Seating and the ocean view
Alright, shall we head into Masian 300???

The store isn't huge, but there were all kinds of seats, from solo seats to group tables. Since Yeongjong isn't far from Seoul and gets all sorts of tourists, this seems like a handmade burger spot on Yeongjong Island where anyone could enjoy a good meal.

It was a bit overcast, but you could faintly see the sea off Incheon. On a clear day, this would really nail the role of an ocean-view restaurant on Yeongjong Island.

Every corner of the space is in white tones, so it looked clean and tidy — I liked that.

Kiosk ordering and drinks
You order via kiosk. The screen is large and the menu is shown as images, so it's not hard at all.

After ordering, we just grabbed our own drinks and set them up. There was cola and sprite, but I went with Dr Pepper Zero for the first time in a while. It's oddly addictive.

Hawaiian BBQ, Masian B.L.T, garlic butter fries
Our order came out. Unlike other places, this spot is run by a chef with over 15 years of experience, who makes everything himself — from the burger buns to the patty to the vegetables, there was a lot of variety.

We ordered the Masian B.L.T, Hawaiian BBQ, garlic butter fries, and a drink.

Garlic butter fries
The garlic butter fries had a thicker cut than I usually prefer — I like them thinner — but these were plump, fresh out of the fryer, crispy outside and really soft inside. The garlic sauce, piled on generously, has this magic where you keep reaching for more even when you're full.

Hawaiian BBQ burger
True to a handmade burger on Yeongjong Island, this one was packed full. The patty is handmade, so no explanation needed — a well-grilled beef patty with a subtle smoky char. I got the Hawaiian burger, loaded with tomato, lettuce, bacon, and pineapple. My bite-in photo was too messy to post, but the juicy patty combined with a special sauce was delicious.

Masian B.L.T
My friend's Masian B.L.T had fewer fillings than mine, but its distinct clean, light taste kept me going back for more.

Handmade burgers as a hangover cure — how was it?
We'd had a lot to drink the night before and needed something for the hangover — burgers turned out to be surprisingly good for it haha. Thinking about it that way, this handmade burger spot on Yeongjong Island felt like a solid choice.
The atmosphere was exotic and parking was easy, which made things comfortable. With a campsite-like front yard, it seemed like a great spot to take it easy and eat a burger brunch-style on a nice day. The overall vibe was really good, and the patty — wow. A slight smoky char mingling with the sauce gave it such a rich flavor.
Good with family, with friends, or with a partner — Masian 300 is a place I'd recommend as a Yeongjong Island restaurant.
