Guro, Seoul bar for cream udon and group nights: Eulji Pocha

Today’s spot is somewhere I seriously go all the time haha—Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch, right near Guro Digital Complex Station! This isn’t somewhere I’ve visited just once or twice; I go often enough to call myself a regular at this Guro Digital Complex Station bar, so I wanted to write about it haha.

A great atmosphere for drinks with friends in Guro Digital Complex

It’s a place I end up visiting more often than you’d think whenever I’m looking for somewhere to have a drink in Guro Digital Complex!

I especially love the atmosphere here. It’s not an overly quiet bar, but it doesn’t feel chaotically hectic either, so it’s just right for drinking and hanging out with friends haha.

The vibe also suits people in their 20s and 30s, so if you’re looking for a place to drink with friends in Guro Digital Complex, I think Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is worth a visit! Even though it’s called a pocha (casual Korean drinking spot), it isn’t simply somewhere to quietly drink—the atmosphere is pretty exciting, which is personally the kind of vibe I like hahaha.

Cream udon and janchi guksu together

After debating the menu again this time, I ordered the cream udon! Spicy, intense dishes are great while drinking, of course, but when you have one smooth, rich dish like this in the middle, you just keep reaching for it hahaha.

I ordered the cream udon because it’s good with drinks and easy to share! I personally love the springy chew of udon noodles, and with the cream sauce they went down so smoothly—perfect while drinking haha.

And since Eulji Pocha is somewhere I’ve visited many times, whenever I meet friends in Guro Digital Complex, we always end up here. They also have games, so they give you loads of complimentary goodies haha.

A spacious spot that works for larger groups

It has a bit of a DJ pocha feel too, so it was great for enjoying the atmosphere when we visited with a bigger group of friends! It’s good for a casual drink as a pair, for gathering with friends to drink, and even for a work dinner if your group is a little bigger. It’s sooo spacious haha.

There are lots of offices in Guro Digital Complex, so I imagine plenty of people are looking for a place to have a drink with coworkers after work. If you want somewhere more relaxed and exciting rather than overly formal, this place seems like a great fit too haha.

It’s one of my regular places that I quietly end up visiting often whenever I drink near Guro Digital Complex, so this time too, I relaxed, had a drink, and had a great time 💛

It’s reaaally spacious!! Above all, it has an easygoing atmosphere where people in their 20s and 30s can drink and have fun, so I think you’ll be even more satisfied if you prefer something livelier than a super quiet, calm place hehe.

Especially if you like not only the usual pocha atmosphere but also the more exciting DJ pocha vibe, I think you’ll have even more fun here haha. There must definitely be a reason I keep coming back like this, hehe.

Events and the squishy-toy prize I sadly missed

They have events too! Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch was great for having fun with friends over drinks, and it also worked nicely for a work dinner or gathering!

There was a prize machine with squishy toys here, but I couldn’t win one—such a shame ㅠ My friend is totally obsessed with prize machines...

We ordered janchi guksu (banquet noodles) too haha. So ridiculously good. As we kept drinking, I strangely started craving something brothy. At times like that, ordering a janchi guksu to share really hits the spot haha. Having janchi guksu in between bites of the smooth cream udon made for a pretty good combination too. Especially while drinking, I think having a noodle dish like this is great for wrapping up the meal. This time too, we properly finished off the cream udon and janchi guksu, then enjoyed our drinks 🍻💛
