It’s around Suyu Station’s food alley! It’s on the second floor, so remember to look up 👀

The atmosphere: bar seating and regular tables

The bar table caught my eye as soon as I walked in,, The compact little interior felt just like stepping into a Japanese bar!

There are regular tables as well as bar seats, just so you know.

Bunko Suyu has an indoor restroom too, so you can comfortably settle in for a drink.

The things they set out as soon as we sat down,,

We ordered the Bunko Set for two, plus a bottle of beer! How could you possibly resist beer in this atmosphere,,?

• Bunko Set (2 people): salad, sashimi, sushi, mentsikatsu (Japanese minced-meat cutlet), crab tomalley pasta, jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup)
• Price: ₩64,000

Isn’t the set packed with things?! The salad came out right after we ordered. The sweetness of sweet potato and the salty bacon went sooo well together,, 💕

First, out came the sashimi & sushi & mentsikatsu. The mentsikatsu was steaming,, like it had just come out of the fryer, and I loved how thick and satisfyingly huge each bite was.

There were six pieces of sushi. The wasabi level was perfect,, and the slices of fish totally passed the test •• 💯

And finally, the sashimi! Can you see how fresh it is, even in the photo?.? The moment I took a bite, that bouncy, chewy texture was just ahh ✨

And cheers with beer •• 🍻

Just as we were finishing the first round of food,,, the remaining two dishes came out!! Like, if this isn’t round two, what is?

Anyone tried crab tomalley pasta? It might not sound familiar ㅠ!!! But I really recommend trying it ✨💕 It was rich and clean-tasting without being heavy, and I especially want to recommend it to anyone bored of standard tomato or rosé pasta!

Lastly, jjamppong!!!!! Ahh, isn’t this basically the hangover-cure stage,,,, Sipping that spicy jjamppong broth near the end made the day absolutely perfect 👏🏻

How about it as a Suyu Station date bar that has both value + atmosphere,, or as a great spot for a blind date,, ➰
