Euljiro rooftop bar for after-work beers with coworkers: Another Level

After work today, a dinner with my coworkers from the same hiring batch got arranged in a hurry. The weather was lovely, so I thought it would be great to have a beer outdoors.

So I searched for rooftop bars in Euljiro 3-ga and found Another Level (어나더레벨). Here's my visit review, where I enjoyed the signature vibe of Hipjiro (hip Euljiro) with tasty snacks and draft beer~

Where is Another Level in Euljiro 3-ga, and how do you get up there?

Another Level is a cooking pub at 11 Euljiro 12-gil, 4th floor, Jung-gu, Seoul, near Euljiro 3-ga Station, so it's a decent place to stop by after work. Euljiro has quirky bars in every alley, which makes wandering around fun, but this time I wanted something a little special, so I looked for a place with a rooftop.

Another Level has its indoor space on the 4th floor of the building and the rooftop on the 5th floor, so on a first visit just check where the building is and take the elevator up.

My first impression as soon as I walked in: this is an Euljiro 3-ga bar that suits get-togethers with friends and also an after-work drink with coworkers.

What's the Another Level rooftop like on a nice day?

What I looked forward to most on this visit was the 5th-floor rooftop. On a nice day, beer tastes better with fresh air than it does indoors, right?

The charm of Another Level is the open feel of a rooftop in the middle of the city, and Euljiro's vintage yet hip atmosphere on top of that makes an ordinary drinking session feel a bit more special.

What I ordered at Another Level that day was chicken lollipops, hanwoo two-plus-grade yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) and draft beer. The chicken lollipops were my pick to go with beer. When you go to a bar you always agonize over which snack to get, and chicken and fries are a pretty safe choice that few people dislike, so they're great for sharing.

A cold draft beer with chicken just goes well any time. It's also easy to pick at one piece at a time while chatting, so it's a good order when you come with a group.

The second dish I picked at Another Level was the hanwoo two-plus-grade yukhoe. I wanted a different kind of snack rather than only chicken, and yukhoe is popular with drinks for its nutty flavor and soft texture, right?

Ordering a hearty snack like chicken together with yukhoe made it fun to pick between different dishes. Add cold draft beer and the whole table felt much richer.
