The moment I walked in, I could tell — this is a proper roastery café! The whole place was filled with the nutty smell of coffee and I loved it ♡♡ Plus there's a huge roasting machine sitting right there in one corner.

An Americano for ₩4,300 — at a roastery café, that price alone earns a pass 💓 They make their own beans, syrups and desserts in-house, so it can't possibly taste bad. But wait! I wanted decaf...

The coffee really does taste different at a roastery café ☺️ I got the iced Americano and my friend got the iced vanilla latte.
The beans themselves are so fresh, with a deep aroma
No stale, oily smell you sometimes get from old beans, not too acidic either, and the finish is clean — great for cleansing your palate. The vanilla latte didn't taste like a bottled syrup either; it had a subtle vanilla aroma that paired perfectly with the desserts.
Handmade desserts that are not too sweet, right to the last bite
Dessert here is non-negotiable.
We ordered the Basque cheesecake and the signature egg tart
They weren't nearly as sweet as I expected, so I could enjoy them all the way to the last bite. A lot of café desserts these days lean way too sweet... but the desserts at Ieo Coffee Roasters are the opposite — less sweet, and honestly more enjoyable for it!
The Basque cheesecake comes with whipped cream on the side
Wow! When you order the Basque cheesecake, they give you whipped cream on the side. Dipping the dense, fudgy cheesecake lightly into the cream brings out a whole extra layer of soft flavor — genuinely impressive.
