Hi, this is Yeon. I strolled over to Lemangdoré Gwanghwamun, a famous dessert spot in Gwanghwamun. It's located on a tidy, well-organized street, so it was easy to get to.

Norwegian Forest, the matcha strawberry latte (8,500 won)

This matcha strawberry latte is apparently inspired by "Norwegian Wood," the novel by Haruki Murakami that's beloved among Koreans. The red layer at the bottom is the strawberry~

You stir it well before drinking — it's a distinctive matcha latte where the matcha's bitterness meets the sweetness of the strawberry syrup.

Cappuccino (6,300 won)

A nutty cappuccino with rich milk foam, smooth milk, and deep coffee flavor rising through it. (You can also ask for no cinnamon powder on top.)

Chausson aux pommes, the layered apple pastry (6,300 won)

The chausson aux pommes (apple pie) has the gentle, natural sweetness of apple and a rich caramel aroma.

Crisp, layered pastry with distinct flaky ridges, packed inside with sweet apple filling. Lemangdoré's chausson aux pommes has such a lovely gentle sweetness and nuttiness.

A clean café that's easy to visit since it's close to Seoul City Hall too. A friendly and delicious dessert spot in Gwanghwamun. It's also a great stop after a walk along Cheonggyecheon.
