Chungmuro set meal restaurant: bossam for two, Nagwon-ui Soba
In short
Nagwon-ui Soba Bossam Kalguksu Chungmuro Station Main Branch is a bossam and soba restaurant on the 2nd floor of Dain Building in Jung-gu, Seoul, a two-minute walk from Chungmuro Station Exit 1. The order was bossam (small) for two plus the table set, which pairs lemon soba with a half portion of pork cutlet, so the meal alternated between mild boiled pork and tangy cold noodles. Nagwon-ui Soba is a good stop when you want bossam, soba and noodles in one sitting.

I was looking for a place to enjoy bossam (boiled pork wraps) and soba (buckwheat noodles) together, and that's how I ended up at Eulji-ro Kalguksu — Nagwon-ui Soba! It's close to Chungmuro Station, so it's easy to get to, and I was looking forward to trying everything from hearty bossam to cool soba~ It's especially known for its bossam and soba, so I was extra curious about this spot 😊 Today I'll walk you through the dishes I tried and the vibe of the space! If you're hunting for a Chungmuro restaurant or a spot near Chungmuro Station, take a look~~

The building and entrance from the street

The restaurant is about a 2-minute walk from Chungmuro Station Exit 1~! It's on the 2nd floor of the Dain Building, so you just head up the stairs~
What is the dining room and seating like?

Walking inside, the space felt bigger and cleaner than I expected~ There are tables ranging from 2-seaters to 4-seaters, so it looked good for a visit with friends or a partner, and also fine for a bigger group dining together. The window-side seats let you see the view outside, which made it feel less closed-in, and the seating stretched all the way to the back, making the whole place more spacious than I expected 😄 Overall it had a clean, comfortable vibe, so it felt like an easy place to drop by for lunch or dinner!!
What is on the menu at Nagwon-ui Soba?

Nagwon-ui Soba Chungmuro Station Main Branch is a place where you can find everything from bossam to soba~ There's soba for a light, clean meal, makguksu (buckwheat noodles) for a filling meal, and moist, tender bossam too, so there was a wide range to choose from~

Being able to enjoy bossam and soba together was especially nice since it meant we could share a few different dishes~ It's good for a filling lunch or dinner, and also good if you visit with a group and want to order a variety of dishes~ If you're looking for a Chungmuro restaurant or a spot near Chungmuro Station, keep Nagwon-ui Soba Chungmuro Station Main Branch in mind — you can enjoy bossam, soba, and noodles all in one place! 😊
Bossam (small) for two: portion size and taste

The bossam (small), ordered for two, came out neatly arranged in bite-sized pieces. The glossy sheen on the bossam made it look really appetizing~
The wrap greens were fresh too, so wrapping the bossam in them was absolutely delicious 👍🏻

The meat was tender and moist, so it was easy to eat without feeling heavy, and it tasted even better with the side accompaniments! The portion was plenty for two people to share, and the clean, mild flavor with no gamey aftertaste made it pair well with the soba or noodles too!! If you want to enjoy bossam, this was a solid choice to look up as a Chungmuro restaurant or a spot near Chungmuro Station. 😊
The table set: lemon soba with half a pork cutlet

I tried the table set, which comes with lemon soba and a half portion of pork cutlet (tonkatsu)! Being able to enjoy the refreshing lemon soba and crispy cutlet at once was perfect for when just one dish isn't quite enough. The soba with lemon added looked especially refreshing, and switching back and forth with the cutlet cut down on the greasiness — a pretty good combo~
The cutlet came as a half portion, so it was easy to enjoy as a side without feeling too heavy~ Crispy on the outside!! And packed with meat on the inside, so it was filling too~

Eating it together with the soba made for a meal that was both filling and clean at the same time 😄 If you're searching for a Chungmuro restaurant or a spot near Chungmuro Station and want to try something different beyond bossam, this soba menu is well worth watching — the table set is a menu worth keeping an eye on 🍋
