Time is flying by! September, fighting~! I'm on vacation this week so I'm really soaking up the relaxation haha

Kiosk ordering: what we picked

There's a wide variety on the menu~! You order via the kiosk right at your table~! We ordered one jjol fish cutlet, one Jinsim King Donkatsu, and two Cloud non-alcoholic beers.

It's a certified Korean pork restaurant, which added to my trust, and they say they cook it thinking of it as food for their own family — no way it could taste bad~!

The self-serve corner setup

At the self-serve corner you grab soup, broth, lettuce, side dishes, sauce, and so on~! Just take as much as you'll eat~!

We grabbed everything from the self-serve corner~! My friend had nicely set out the spoons and chopsticks. (Such a thoughtful touch)

The taste of Jinsim King Donkatsu and jjol fish cutlet

The Jinsim King Donkatsu arrived. The portion of king donkatsu is huge, haha. Not-so-secret secret: the Jinsim Double King Donkatsu actually comes with two cutlets~^^ haha

Since my friend and I both had plans today, we toasted with non-alcoholic beer instead~! haha This would also be great for a lunchtime drink with coworkers!

I hadn't held a knife in so long that I basically destroyed the fish cutlet. ㅠㅠ But it was still so tasty~! haha It totally matched my taste, which made me really happy.

My friend nicely cut up the king donkatsu for me, so I got to eat comfortably.

The jjol fish cutlet was a total standout~! haha At first I thought about just ordering jjolmyeon, but then I saw the fish cutlet was paired with jjolmyeon, so I ordered the jjol fish cutlet instead. As expected, it was so good~! haha The Jinsim King Donkatsu, their signature dish, had that solid, back-to-basics flavor and I loved it.

I ate well and took a selfie afterward~^^

My friend enjoyed it too, which made me happy~ haha

The Pyeongdong Industrial Complex is nearby, so if you work in Pyeongdong, this would be a great spot for lunch or dinner! The parking lot is also huge, so it's great for a visit with family or for a date~! It's not far from Gwangju Songjeong Station either, whether you drive or take the subway, so it's worth the trip from there too for great donkatsu!haha

It was so good I'm planning to come back~! The staff were also friendly, which made the experience even better.
