Mirror and 4-item mix picnic rental in Mangwon, Seoul: Picnic List

Today I'm bringing you my review of Picnic List Mangwon, an unmanned picnic gear rental shop for Mangwon Han River Park haha. Isn't picnic season the best in this cool weather? Three minutes from Mangwon Han River Park: finding the shop

The storefront says "picnic gear rental shop," and it really is just a 3-minute walk to the Han River park! Having it so close was already a huge plus. Out front, I saw mats that had been washed and were drying, so it seemed like everything was kept clean.

What picnic gear can you rent at Picnic List Mangwon?

Everything you'd need for a picnic was at Picnic List Mangwon. Tents, sunshades, tables, board games, tripods, chairs, embossed mats, even picnic tableware sets! It looked like more than enough for a family outing, a couple's date, or a hangout with friends.

Booking on Naver, paying by transfer and returning by QR

You can book ahead through Naver, and the nice thing about booking is that the owner writes down what you want and has it ready at the shop! If you show up without booking, the item you need might not be available, so I'd recommend reserving (same-day booking works too). After picking up your gear, you pay by bank transfer, and when returning it you just scan the return QR code.

Prices: 3 hours base, 5,000 won per extra hour

Here's the Picnic List price chart (pulled from their Naver page). The base rental is 3 hours, and each extra hour is only ₩5,000, which is really cheap! There's also a note on precautions listed there. And they have event sets, which seem great for a surprise haha. With so many rental items and combo sets available, it felt like a really affordable way to do this. If you write a review you get to rent one extra item, like a tripod, mood light, or bubbles, so it's nice to write one and get something back!

The 3-item combo set plus a 4-item mix, and why the wagon decided it

We went with the 3-item combo set — chair, tent, mirror, mat, bubbles, table — plus a 4-item mix. The reason we picked the 3-item combo set was that it includes a wagon! Even for a short distance, a wagon is a must. You have to carry food and walk across the grass, so having a wagon made it so much easier.

Having the tent was great since we could just lie down comfortably, and next time I think it'd be even better to add an embossed mat underneath. And putting a mirror and bubbles on the table over the mat gave it such a dreamy, aesthetic feel. This was exactly what I wanted.

Walking Mangwon Han River Park and what to eat nearby

Mangwon Han River Park is also great for a stroll. There are duck boats, it's lovely to walk while zoning out over the water, and a lot of people were out cycling too.

There was also a rocking chair along the way, and riding it was so much fun!! There are plenty of convenience stores, fried chicken places, and restaurants nearby to pick up food, and even if you don't bring your own, you can just buy everything right there, which was nice.

Rent the bubbles: the best 1,000 won of the picnic

One thing I really recommend renting at Picnic List Mangwon is the bubbles, seriously recommend them. Photos turn out so pretty with them, and honestly, when else would you get to use bubbles like this haha. For anyone heading to Mangwon Han River Park for a picnic, or anyone who needs picnic gear rental, I recommend Picnic List Mangwon!
