Last weekend, a friend and I decided to have a picnic at Mangwon Han River Park. Since it was our first picnic, we had zero gear — I was even wondering if I should just grab a mat from Daiso. While looking up what to bring, I came across "Picnic List Mangwon." They rent out everything you need for a picnic, right in front of the entrance to Mangwon Han River Park, so I booked immediately and went!!

Booking Picnic List Mangwon on Naver, at least an hour ahead
Picnic List Mangwon requires a Naver reservation at least an hour before your visit. I saw a lot of people show up without booking and get turned away..
On the booking page, you first pick one of the sets. That 3-item combo set in the middle had the best value and composition, so that's what I chose!!!
After picking a set, you choose the date and time. The standard rental time is 3 hours, but if you buy the all-day pass you can use it for up to 5 hours.
When can you set up a tent at Mangwon Han River Park?
Something a lot of people miss — the tent setup hours at Mangwon Han River Park!! There are designated zones, periods, and time windows for setting up tents. Normally from September to November tents are only allowed from 9am to 7pm, but during my visit in September 2026 there was a temporary extension allowing setup until 10pm.
I'd recommend checking the tent setup hours in advance on the Seoul Han River website.
With the 3-item combo set, you pick one item from each category to make up your set. I went with tent / air pillow / wood table, and completed the booking!!

I arrived at Picnic List Mangwon right on time for my reservation. It's located right in front of the entrance tunnel to Mangwon Han River Park, so the location is really, really good!!! There were a few other picnic rental shops nearby, but Picnic List had the most variety, the best value, and the best location.

I showed the staff my Naver reservation screen, and they told me to place the same order again on the kiosk here. The reservation seems to mainly be used for estimating rough quantities.
The owner pulls out most of the items for you, so you just look and pick what you want.
What the 8,000-won mix-and-match set of 4 items includes
There was a list posted on the wall for additional rental items! We looked it over and added two mix-and-match sets (₩8,000 each), which let us rent a cutlery set, power bank, mirror, and backrest chair on top of everything else.
There were also plenty of board games great for picnicking, plus event props like flowers and garlands, so it looked like a great spot for a date too!
Wagon included and the one-touch tent set up in minutes
Since we went with the 3-item combo, the wagon was included as standard. The owner neatly loaded everything into the wagon, so all we had to do was pull it along, haha.
After finding a spot, the setup was done in no time! Because it's a one-touch tent, it pops open and sets itself up automatically the moment you open it — so convenient.
After setting up the table, we munched on the salt bread my friend brought. With all the gear provided, there was really nothing else we needed to prepare!
With the air pillow and folding backrest chair, we lay back and watched YouTube.. it was a really solid dose of relaxation.
Sunset at the river and the Baemin delivery pickup zone
As evening came, the sunset turned pretty and everyone was taking sunset photos. It was way too crowded, so I just snapped a quick shot while passing by.
For dinner we ordered fried chicken, haha. At Mangwon Han River Park, you can just order easily through the Baemin app and pick it up at the delivery pickup zone — super convenient.
Would I rent from Picnic List Mangwon again?
Since it was my first picnic at a Han River park, I was both excited and a bit worried, but being able to rent everything at Picnic List made it so easy and enjoyable! I think I'll keep using it whenever I go for a Han River park picnic in the future. If you need affordable picnic gear rental at a Han River park, I highly recommend "Picnic List Mangwon"!!
