After this experience, I think I'll keep coming back to Gangseo Gongeopsa as my go-to Gangseo-gu car inspection center~! They handled the inspection so quickly and smoothly that with only one car ahead of me, I could check in and get started right away. The road was also wide and uncomplicated, so driving in was easy.

After pulling in, I followed staff directions to the reception desk, checked in, and looked around a bit.

One wall had a bunch of helpful notices posted, and there was even a QR code you could scan to leave a review right there.

Waiting area and how long the inspection took

While the inspection was underway, I waited in the designated area. The inspection itself moved along faster than I expected, and although it can vary depending on conditions, overall I never felt like the wait was too long. Inside the inspection bay, the traffic flow was clearly laid out so multiple cars could move through in sequence, and staff guided each vehicle, so nothing felt chaotic.

Even as a first-time visitor, the floor plan guide made it easy to figure out where to go despite the layout. Wi-Fi was also available.

Ten dashboard warning lights after the inspection: what happened?

This one caught me off guard: on the drive home right after the inspection, ten warning lights suddenly lit up on my dashboard. Turns out this can happen temporarily during the load test, when only the front wheels spin rapidly. In my case, after driving about 15 minutes and turning the car off and back on, the warning lights were gone~!

Inspection report and what was checked

The whole inspection took about 10 minutes, which made this checkup fast and convenient overall — I liked that. They also handed over a clear inspection report I could check at a glance, which was reassuring.
