For our second wedding anniversary, we found a private self-photo studio in Hongdae

My husband and I decided to take photos at a self-photo studio every year on our wedding anniversary. While looking for a studio for our second anniversary pictures, we visited U&I Studio Hongdae Branch, which had great reviews.

U&I Studio has locations in Dongtan, Seongsu, and Hongdae, and we chose the Hongdae Branch because it was close to home. We made a Naver reservation and received an information text on the morning of our visit. Only one group uses the studio per time slot, so it was nice to shoot comfortably in private.

How much time do you get for the shoot?

U&I Studio Hongdae Branch gives you 60 minutes, so you can take photos slowly and without rushing. No other self-photo studio gives you this much time—U&I is the best.

Test shots with the white backdrop and lighting

These were our test shots, and the background was incredibly clean and the image quality was great! The white backdrop and strong lighting made our faces look nice and bright, so I was totally satisfied haha. They also had a tripod, charger, and things like that ready for us, so we even filmed a time-lapse.

Do you need to bring your own props?

We did not prepare any props of our own, but the props already there were more than enough for our shoot! In addition to the basic props, you can add three types of premium flower centerpieces, which would be great for bridal shower or wedding photos too.

A simple touch with chalk

It had been so long since I last used chalk... I am not very handy, so I just wrote something simple!

It was simple, but it became a nice little point in the photos, so I was very happy haha.

Outfit rental and the basic photo package

U&I also rents women's dresses, maternity dresses, men's suit sets, and baby dresses, so you do not have to buy clothes just for the shoot—you can simply rent them comfortably!

Best of all, U&I's photo package was so good! They send you all the original files as soon as the shoot is over. You can look through them on your way home haha.
