Angry Potato is a brand that's recently been blowing up on social media and in pop-up stores at major department stores — a handmade fries specialist using 100% fresh potatoes. It's not just fries; it's a fast-casual food spot where you can customize things to your taste!! 🍟💚

Being inside the basement 1 food court of the Songdo outlet, the space had that distinctively clean, open layout, which was really impressive — and since it's in a food court, it seemed like a great spot to stop by casually for a snack while shopping💚 Angry Potato Songdo. Takeout is available too, and if you want to eat in, just use the food court tables, so feel free to use it however's convenient :)

Angry Potato Songdo doesn't just fry thick French fries fresh to order — they also sell cylindrical potato chips separately, perfect for eating on the go or as a gift/takeout item! The dedicated canister is super cute, and since these chips are only found here, I really recommend trying them✨😀

The free sauce bar: 9 sauces, serve yourself

This is Angry Potato's self-serve sauce bar! (the free sauce bar) A defining feature of Angry Potato is being able to choose from up to 9 sauces to suit your taste — basic cheese sauce, sweet-spicy sauces, and something heavier and full of flavor like chipotle, all lined up so it was genuinely fun customizing to my own taste~ This self-serve sauce bar is such a great touch? 👍😀

✅Deep Squat Party Pack (₩37,000) — there were so many menu items I couldn't decide what to order, so I went with the Deep Squat Party Pack so I could try a bit of everything!!

The Deep Squat Party Pack let me try Angry Potato's popular hot crunchy chicken, mini burgers, chili cheese sticks, fries and chewy potato, which made it even more satisfying💚✨

Here's what's inside the Angry Potato Deep Squat Party Pack: 5 hot crunchy chicken pieces + 3 mini burger skewers + 2 chili cheese sticks + fries + 2 chewy potato skewers + mac and cheese + cheddar cheese + ranch taro + pickles — I get why this is so popular, being able to try this much variety at a good price~👍 It's great as a snack, but also works really well as beer food, so it seems like it'd be perfect to take home for drinks too.

I meant to eat it as a snack, but it was such good beer food that I quietly cracked open a can..🍺 There's no way this isn't beer food!!

Ranch sauce, mac and cheese and pickles

The ranch sauce really did its job — its soft, creamy taste wrapped around the salty spiciness of the fries and chicken, mellowing out the intensity while boosting the savory flavor, and the pickles cut through the richness so my hand kept reaching for them~ The combo was genuinely so good🍀💛

The mac and cheese was rich and thick with cheese and macaroni filling my mouth with savory flavor — if you love cheese like me, you'd probably inhale it~ It's delicious on its own, but pairing it with the chili cheese sticks, fries, or mini burgers brings out even richer flavor, so I really recommend eating them together

Mini burger skewers

Here are Angry Potato's mini burgers🍔 What I loved about the mini burgers was that each one tasted different rather than the same! Cute little sizes, but packed with flavor inside — the juicy patties and sauce combo was perfect, making it an addictive skewer I kept reaching for~ Honestly, from the bun to the patty to the veggies, everything was good enough to be its own dedicated burger restaurant✨

Chewy potato skewers

The chewy potato skewers had a texture completely different from regular potatoes🍡 Slightly crispy outside, chewy like rice cake inside — if you're a texture person, you'll definitely fall for this! Kind of like Japanese dango, kind of like mochi, but genuinely chewy, soft and sticky, which made it even more delicious~ The chewy potato skewers are great on their own, but even better dipped in sauce💕

Chili cheese sticks

You all know chili cheese is hot right now, right? I heard it was trending, so I tried it at several places — but honestly, this was the best chili cheese I've had so far, with great cheese quality, crispy fried texture and perfectly sweet-spicy sauce!! Biting in while warm, the cheese stretched out in a satisfyingly savory pull, and the seasoning was addictive, so I really enjoyed it~ The cheese quality was great too

Angry Potato's foundational fries🍟 Crispy outside, fluffy inside, with the natural flavor of fresh potato coming through — delicious plain or dipped deep in sauce! Angry Potato really is a potato specialist, huh?💚

Hot crunchy chicken, 5 pieces

The textbook example of spicy and crispy, hot crunchy chicken (5 pieces)🍗 Crispy outside, moist inside, with spicy seasoning swirling through that completely cut the richness — and since it's boneless, it was great as a snack~ Kind of tastes like the chicken inside a hot crispy burger? It was pre-seasoned so it was even tastier, and alternating bites with the fries — genuinely bottomless eating

Is the Deep Squat Party Pack worth it?

The staff were friendly, the menu was varied, the food was good, and the packaging was clean — overall a satisfying experience at Angry Potato Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch💛 If you're looking for a good restaurant at the Songdo outlet, I recommend it!!
