Today I've got a sandwich review from Eopcheonri382, a café famous for its retro vibe that feels like visiting grandma's house. It's near Chungbuk National University, so it seems like a great spot to grab a simple meal while studying or doing assignments~~

What the café looks like from outside

You can spot it from far away — the vintage-vibe sign, the warm wood-toned exterior, and retro accent interior all catch the eye!

There's parking space right in front of the store, so it's easy to visit by car (3 spots available). When I went, all of them were empty.

Make sure to check the hours! Being open really late is one of Eopcheonri382's biggest strengths. Open until 11:30 — how great is that, haha.

The menu board is packed with crowd-pleasers, from the misutgaru (roasted grain powder drink) Eopcheonri is known for, to the field series, pastry waffles, and bean bread. There's also a range of fresh salads and poke bowls for those watching their diet, along with the drinks.

There are so many menu items that just choosing becomes a happy dilemma, but whatever you pick, the toppings are so generously piled on that it never feels lacking as a full meal. Especially since the food holds its shape well even when packed for delivery or takeout, it's great for ordering at home or bringing on a picnic. There were tons of delivery orders while I was there!!

How the salmon sandwich and chicken tender sandwich taste

Eopcheonri382 Chungbuk National University Branch is famous for stuffing its sandwiches full and hearty, which is why it's a regular spot for Chungbuk National University students and nearby residents! This time I ordered the fresh, clean salmon sandwich and the chicken tender sandwich.

The chicken tender sandwich is pure happiness~ It seemed to be cooked right after ordering, because the chicken wasn't dry at all and was juicy, and the crispiness of the batter was still alive! On top of that, there was a generous drizzle of sweet, salty, subtly tangy mustard sauce that made it delicious. Honestly, the chicken sandwich is the kind of menu item anyone can enjoy regardless of preference haha.

It's a filling menu without being heavy! The salmon was fresher than I expected, and the combo with crunchy lettuce and tomato was great. It's mayo-based, but the sauce wasn't overdone, so I could fully taste the salmon's clean, delicate flavor. It's the perfect menu item when you're dieting or just want a clean meal! I had mine swapped to rye bread~

The self-serve bar

The self-serve bar has water, napkins, forks, spoons, and knives~ You'd need these for poke bowls, but I ended up eating my sandwich with a fork since I kept spilling it holding it in my hands ㅠ haha!!
