This time I visited a BBQ restaurant near Suam Market with such pretty outdoor-tent vibes^^ A place where the meat just looks amazing, totally famous as a waiting-line restaurant — Biniljip Suam Branch.

Where is Biniljip Suam Branch? Hours and parking
Biniljip Suam Branch is located at 14 Suam-ro 128beon-gil, dong 2, 1st floor, unit 1, Nam-gu, Ulsan (lot number: Yaeum-dong 700-7, Nam-gu, Ulsan). Hours are daily from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with last order at 10:00 PM. There's a public parking lot right next to the entrance that's free for 1 hour.
It's a pork specialty restaurant with strong outdoor-tent vibes, selling carefully selected domestic pork. A meal enjoyed in a special space, with homemade side dishes prepared fresh every day — it really felt trustworthy!

Biniljip Suam Branch menu and what we ordered
Let's take a look at the menu. There's samgyeopsal (pork belly), mokssal (pork neck), kkodeul mokssal (chewy pork neck), yukhoe (beef tartare), pork ribs, chadolbagi (thinly sliced beef brisket), and more, packed full of options. There are also set menus^^

What did we order? The Biniljip hanpan platter + stew set for 2, 2 bowls of rice, and 1 drink. There's a smart order screen at every table, so ordering was easy and convenient.

Outdoor-tent atmosphere and the rectangular iron griddle
Biniljip Suam Branch is really spacious inside — I love it! Great for groups, great for family outings, and also perfect for coming with a partner or friends^^

Can a BBQ restaurant really be this pretty? A place where you get intoxicated by the atmosphere, the taste, and the vibe all at once^^ I really understood why it's so busy with people ㅇㅅㅇ

The vibe is just amazing! Biniljip really feels like an outdoor tent restaurant~ I imagine it would feel even more atmospheric if it rained^^
What I liked most about Biniljip is that the griddle is a rectangular iron plate. The heat distribution is excellent so the meat grills really well:)
Self-service corner: free ramyeon, chive pancake and kimchi pancake
Biniljip Suam Branch has a well-stocked self-service corner. There's rice cake, pickled radish, bean sprouts, kimchi, dried kelp, curly chicory, lettuce, perilla leaves, onion, cabbage, chili peppers, garlic, and more.

The ramyeon is free~ You fill a metal pot with water yourself and boil it on the burner! A self-cook-it-yourself system.

Chive pancake and kimchi pancake are free! The batter is already prepared, so you just grill it up and eat.

How did the pork shoulder, pork belly and chewy shoulder cut taste?
The color of the meat is amazing, right? It looked incredibly fresh~ I immediately thought, this meat looks really good^^

The pork neck (mokssal) had zero toughness, soft and moist with an outstanding clean flavor. The pork belly (samgyeopsal) had a good balance of fat and lean meat, with juiciness bursting out and unique chewiness. The kkodeul mokssal had a crazy amount of fat. Fun to chew and full of savory flavor — it's Biniljip's popular menu item^^ Crunchy, chewy, and sticky, with savoriness rising the more you chew.

Chadol cheonggukjang doenjang jjigae (beef brisket fermented soybean stew)
The cheonggukjang flavor isn't overpowering, and with the brisket in it there's a meaty taste along with a savory, rich umami~ Most of all, the broth wasn't too salty and the seasoning was just right^^

The meat was really tender with zero gamey smell, and it was so delicious. The texture was alive and I loved it!

Finishing with self-made fried rice and dessert
No matter what, the finale has to be fried rice, right ㅋㅋ Fried rice made yourself — the rice was firm enough to fry up nicely~ Sliced pork mixed with kimchi and vegetables, all stir-fried together.

There's ground coffee and instant mix coffee for dessert, good for a palate cleanser? There are also chargers, so feel free to charge your phone if needed^^

The restroom had a cute big sign that literally said 'toilet.' The men's and women's restrooms were well set up, and the women's restroom even had 3 stalls. Really spacious and clean restroom overall.
