Oat milk latte and free drip bag at Seoul Station café: Dance Dance
In short
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a sandwich and coffee shop on level B3 of Grand Central at 14 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul. The baguette sandwich was swapped for ciabatta free of charge, and the oat milk latte tasted nutty rather than oaty, so it went down to the last sip even for someone who dislikes oat. The free drip bag, brewed at the office the next day, made a decent cup too — an easy quick meal near Seoul Station.

I was looking for somewhere near Seoul Station to grab a light meal and coffee together, so I stopped by Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station at Grand Central.
Seoul Station has no shortage of restaurants and cafés, but when you actually want something light like a sandwich, it can be surprisingly hard to decide where to go. That day I was in the mood for bread rather than rice, so I went to get a sandwich.

Inside Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station on level B3 of Grand Central
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is set up as an open-plan space on B3 of Grand Central. The overall vibe was clean and comfortable, and it looked like a good spot to stop in for a quick meal.

Coffee discount for a same-day 2KM run
Once inside, I noticed they were also running an event for runners. Show a running record of 2KM or more from that same day, and you can get a discount on coffee.
With the weather cooling down lately, a lot of people seem to be running in the mornings or evenings, so this seemed like a good spot near Seoul Station to work out and grab coffee afterward.

It looks like you just need to show a screen confirming your run for that day. I hadn't gone running that day, so I didn't use this event, haha.

Kiosk ordering and the fall seasonal menu at Dance Dance Dance
Ordering was simple via kiosk.

Browsing the menu, the seasonal items caught my eye. A new fall fig matcha baguette had come out, and the pollock roe potato sandwich from summer was still on the menu too. If you like seasonal menus, it could be fun picking from these.

Free swap from baguette to ciabatta
That day I wanted something a bit more basic rather than anything too unusual, so I ordered the baguette sandwich. While ordering, I noticed I could swap the bread for ciabatta.
I personally like ciabatta, so I went for the swap right away. The best part was that there was no extra charge for the bread swap! Since it was free, there was no need to think twice — I switched to ciabatta.

The oat milk latte an oat-hater finished
For drinks, I ordered an americano and an oat milk latte. I'd originally planned to get an americano and a regular café latte, but Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station has an oat milk latte instead of a regular milk latte. So I decided to try the oat milk latte.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of oat flavor. Drinks with a strong oat milk smell or taste aren't usually my thing, but this one was better than expected.

For one, the distinctive oat smell I dislike wasn't strongly noticeable. Instead, it had an even nuttier flavor than a regular milk latte, which made it delicious. One sip in, it was better than I expected, so I kept drinking it.

I expected the oat milk latte to taste strongly of oats, but it was closer to a nutty, smooth latte than that. Even people who don't usually go for oat milk might want to give this one a try.

How did the ciabatta sandwich taste and feel?
Once I swapped the bread for ciabatta, the sandwich looked even more appetizing than I'd expected.

It looked like the bread had been warmed up before serving — slightly crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. It also had the chewy texture that's distinctive to ciabatta, which worked well with the sandwich. Crispy outside, moist inside, it was perfect with coffee.

Eating it with the americano especially brought out the sandwich's clean, mild flavor. It went well with the oat milk latte too.

That day, the oat milk latte I hadn't expected to like ended up being pretty memorable for me. I didn't have high hopes since I usually don't like the oat flavor, but the nuttiness won me over.

The free drip bag, brewed at the office the next day
They also gave me a drip bag on the house. I tried it the next morning at work as my morning coffee. I didn't have big expectations since it was just a free gift, but it turned out better than expected and was satisfying too.

The coffee I'd had at the shop the day before was good, and the drip bag held up well too. Brewing it in a rush that morning at work, it somehow made starting the day feel a little better, haha.

A light meal near Seoul Station: would I go back to Dance Dance Dance?
Between the coffee I had at the shop and the drip bag, it seemed like this place really puts thought into its coffee. When looking for a sandwich near Seoul Station, a franchise café usually comes to mind first, but eating at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station at Grand Central made for a bit of a different kind of meal, and I liked that. I especially liked being able to swap in ciabatta for free.

If you prefer softer bread over baguette like I do, I'd recommend the ciabatta swap. Crispy outside and moist inside, I really enjoyed the bread's texture through the whole sandwich.
If you're a runner, you can show a same-day running record of 2KM or more for a coffee discount, so stopping by after a workout seems like a good idea. I didn't get to run that day, but next time I have plans near Seoul Station or need somewhere quick to eat, I'll probably drop by again.
