I've always loved rice cakes haha, so would you believe you can get the super trendy pumpkin injeolmi even here in Ulsan? Let me introduce a great rice cake shop in Nam-gu, Ulsan: "Baekho Tteokbang" ❗

Baekho Tteokbang hours, parking and how to get there
Baekho Tteokbang is a rice cake shop on Beonyeong-ro in Nam-gu, Ulsan, open Monday through Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00, closed every Sunday. Parking is free in the basement level of Geukdong Star Class, available weekdays 11:30–14:00, and you can also park along the main road all day on weekends.

The parking lot entrance is on the opposite side from Baekho Tteokbang, so if you drive around the block you'll find the way in 🚗

★The basement level is the building's parking lot★ so keep that in mind! There's plenty of parking space, so feel free to visit without worry 〰️

Take the elevator up and the entrance is right on your left 🚪 After seeing this video, how could you not come in?

For those coming from outside, it's on a big main road so it's easy to find!

What the shop looks like and what's in stock on a weekday morning
I finally walked in, and true to a shop famous for gift sets and thank-you gifts, the pretty colored wrapping cloths immediately caught my eye ✨ Even though it's a rice cake shop, the space was really tidy!

When I visited at 10:30 a.m. on a Friday, there was still plenty of rice cake left! Here's what was available to buy in store at the time 😄
Baekho Tteokbang menu and prices
Baekho tteok medium ₩8,000 / Baekho tteok large ₩21,000 / Heuk-ho tteok medium ₩8,500 / Mugwort hoddeok medium ₩8,500 / Pumpkin milk ₩4,500 / Pumpkin sikhye ₩4,500 / Baekho tea 1 pc ₩1,500, 10 pcs ₩12,000

Wrapping cloth packaging is ₩2,000, insulated packaging is ₩1,500. Packaging is available too, so keep that in mind if it's for a gift.

What's in the 6,500-won Baekho gift set for first birthdays and 100-day parties
Baekho Tteokbang's 'Baekho gift set' costs ₩6,500 and includes a small-size injeolmi (pounded rice cake) along with a 150ml handmade drink. You can choose the rice cake among Baekho tteok, Heuk-ho tteok, or mugwort hoddeok, and the drink between pumpkin milk and pumpkin sikhye.
I really liked this 'Baekho gift set' lineup. Of course rice cakes are a matter of taste, but I think most adults tend to like them. It's such a well-rounded set that if you have an important occasion coming up, I'd definitely recommend it 👍
Small-size rice cakes and the 'gift set' are reservation-order only, minimum 10 pieces. Free delivery anywhere in Ulsan for orders over ₩100,000

While I was ordering, I noticed the phone📞 kept ringing with reservation orders for gifts. Turns out I was the only one who didn't already know about this place? That feeling of being left out... this is definitely a popular rice cake shop.

Ulsan Pay, Toss Facepay, and card payment all accepted ⭕ I bought a good haul and hurried home!

How the Baekho tteok and mugwort hoddeok travel and taste
What I bought was ☆Baekho tteok, mugwort hoddeok, and pumpkin sikhye☆.

They even thoughtfully included a fork 🍴 Inside it's wrapped in plastic wrap and further protected by a plastic box on top, so the rice cakes made it home without any shifting around, no worries at all :D
Fluffy yet chewy and soft — the textbook definition of great rice cake, if there were such a thing as a rice cake textbook, this would be it!

At first I thought it was one big lump, but it's actually divided into bite-sized pieces so it's easy to pick at! The Baekho tteok has a subtle, clean pumpkin flavor paired with the powdery castella coating — such an addictively good combination that it makes you realize why the classic is the classic! The mugwort hoddeok has the same filling but the castella coating is infused with a strong mugwort aroma, adding an extra nutty charm!

Made every morning with care using 100% Ulsan glutinous rice, pumpkin, black sesame, and other good ingredients — you can really feel it in every bite >< It's so soft and stretchy I thought it was a cheese stick lol. I actually wanted to buy everything after trying the samples in store, but as I kept eating I kept thinking about the Heuk-ho tteok, which had a whole different level of nuttiness... next time it's definitely you. Every time they handed me a sample I'd make exactly this face 🤗 raving about how good it was, and it really did exceed expectations — I hope you get to try it too.

Why the pumpkin sikhye is worth adding to your order
Baekho Tteokbang's pumpkin sikhye (sweet rice punch) is ₩4,500, and mine arrived with just the right slushy icy texture. This was seriously more shockingly delicious than I ever expected!
There's pumpkin flavor, but it's never too much, and it goes down smoothly and easily — it's just more than a regular sikhye. Definitely have it together with the rice cakes 🌟
A rice cake shop so good it should be called Baekho Tteokbang of Ulsan, not Changeok Tteok of Ulsan!
If you're in Ulsan looking for pumpkin injeolmi, or a nutty, satisfying gift for someone, I highly recommend "Baekho Tteokbang" 💗
