Pet-friendly patio dakdoritang in Jeju Nohyeong-dong: Deureomtong
In short
Deureomtong Sotttukkeong Dakdoritang is a Korean restaurant serving lid-pot dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken) in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, close to Jeju Airport. The folding doors open wide for an outdoor drinking-tent feel, and two servings of Korean beef tripe dakdoritang came with the unlimited ramyeon noodles offered before 2pm plus self-serve side dishes. Dogs are welcome indoors if you bring a carrier, and the two-person portion at Deureomtong Sotttukkeong Dakdoritang was so generous that some was left over.

Here's a spot with killer outdoor-tent vibes, perfect for soaking up this amazing fall weather.

This Korean restaurant near Jeju Airport is "Deureomtong Sotttukkeong Dakdoritang," located at 53 Wonnoheung-ro, 1st floor, Jeju City, Jeju. Hours are 11:00 - 3:00, with break time from 15:00 - 16:30 and last order at 2:00. Tamnaneun-jeon payment and points are accepted, and pets are welcome too. On this visit I ordered two servings of beef tripe gomdori tang.
Where is Deureomtong Sotttukkeong Dakdoritang, and where do you park?
Let's start with the exterior of Deureomtong.

#Deureomtong is located in Noheung-dong in Jeju City, so it's also pretty close to Jeju Airport.

There's parking right next to the restaurant, but it only fits 2-3 cars and the space is tight, so I'd recommend using the public parking lot about 5 minutes away on foot.
Folding-door patio seats and the pet-friendly rules
Here's a look at the interior of Deureomtong.

Literally a 'drum barrel' sits at every table. I used to see this setup in Gapyeong years ago... seeing it set up indoors here felt oddly nostalgic.

The place is huge, with group seating available too, making it perfect for gatherings or company dinners. But best of all, with the folding doors wide open, a cool autumn breeze drifted in — it genuinely felt like being out at a mountain valley. Loved it.

And if you've got a carrier bag, you can bring your dog inside too. Best!
Menu prices and the self-serve ramyeon bar before 2pm

The signature dish is sotttukkeong dakdoritang (pot-lid braised chicken), with several variations depending on added ingredients — aged kimchi, gomdori (tripe), or ggotdori. If you leave a Naver receipt review, you get 3 free fish cake skewers, so be sure to join in for extra value.

Pickled onion / pickled chili / corn salad / napa cabbage kimchi

Side dishes are refillable at the self-serve bar. I love the combo of spicy dakdoritang with corn salad so much I refilled it at least twice! Also, if you visit before 2pm, ramyeon noodles are unlimited — also available at the self-serve bar, FYI.
Ordering Korean beef tripe dakdoritang for two

I don't usually go for greasy food, but that day I randomly craved dripping-with-oil tripe, so I ordered the beef tripe gomdori tang.

Wondering if the tripe pieces look massive? Yes. They are. Being Korean beef, the oil content is intense too... if you love tripe, definitely order the gomdori version.

The #beef tripe gomdori tang bubbling away deliciously in that drum-and-pot-lid combo. They give you a timer set to 11 minutes, and you can eat once it goes off.

Once it's fully cooked, they scoop out some of the ingredients and add the ramyeon noodles. Can't resist ramyeon noodles in that sweet-and-spicy sauce...

Cooking over high heat clearly makes a difference — even though the noodles were only half-cooked and chewy, they'd already soaked up all that sauce perfectly.

The starch from the noodles thickened the broth just slightly, which made it perfect for mixing with rice too.

Don't even get me started on the tripe. Every bite bursts with savory fat — probably clogging every vein in my body, but absolutely worth it.

The chicken, tender and fully soaked in sauce, was best paired with the bean sprouts. Even the breast meat wasn't dry at all — so moist-

There were also plenty of extra ingredients — potatoes, rice cakes, cheese rice cakes and more — so I enjoyed a mix of flavors right to the end.

How much food is two servings at Deureomtong?
Two of us ordered two servings plus one bowl of rice, and it was so generous we ended up leaving some behind — sad story. If you've ever been called a big eater, try the pot-lid clearing challenge at this Korean restaurant near Jeju Airport, #Deureomtong! It won't be easy.
