Suyeong bone grill with Bushman bread: Paldo Ppyeogui
In short
Paldo Ppyeogui Suyeong Main Branch is a grilled meat restaurant in Suyeong, Busan. I paired its mildly spicy bone grill with a self-made rice ball set, Bushman bread, coleslaw, and udon noodles mixed into the leftover sauce. Verdict: a great pick for rich sauce and fun side combinations.

A Suyeong spot for bone grill and sides together
I got the chance to visit, and seriously, it was so, so good! I only wish I could have eaten more before getting full. It is great for a meal and just as good for drinks. Of course, the bone grill, the main dish, is delicious—but there are so many unusual sides to go with it that eating here is a lot of fun :)

Paldo Ppyeogui Suyeong Main Branch: location and tips
Paldo Ppyeogui Suyeong Main Branch (팔도뼈구이 수영본점), a great Suyeong restaurant, is easy to spot thanks to its red sign :) It is open from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m., so it is nice for dinner or a drink. There is no separate parking lot, so I recommend using a nearby paid lot or public transportation!

Paldo Ppyeogui in Suyeong has an interior where you can eat comfortably! I liked that the tables were spaced far apart. Places like this are perfect for lingering over drinks and chatting, and it was nice to be able to talk without worrying about the next table.

How did I choose the bone grill spice level?
Here is the Paldo Ppyeogui menu. Bone grill is the main dish, and you can choose the spice level. The soy sauce flavor is like marinated galbi, the mildly spicy flavor is around Shin Ramyun level, the spicy flavor is around Buldak level, and the extra-spicy flavor is around Yupdduk Original level! I am not great with spice, so I chose mildly spicy. To tell you in advance: even as someone who cannot handle much heat, I found the mildly spicy version deliciously spicy :)

The basic table setting and set contents
This is the basic table setting at Paldo Ppyeogui, a Suyeong favorite. At first, I debated whether to order steamed egg, but it came as part of the basic spread! I had wanted steamed egg, so that was absolutely perfect.

If you order a set, you get Bushman bread. You can also order it separately, of course, so please make sure you try it. It is delicious topped with bone grill, but the bread itself is incredibly good! I think it is much tastier than Outback's Bushman bread :)

We ordered the small Paldo Ppyeogui + self-made rice ball set (₩35,000), so it came with self-made rice balls too. You need rice balls when you eat bone grill, after all. Looking at the other sets, though, there was also a Paldo cream pasta set, a mozzarella cheese set, and a mixed fried-food set. Next time, I want to try the Paldo cream pasta set. All the sides here are tasty too, so I am sure it will be good!

Bone grill ready to eat right away
At last, here is today's main event: Paldo Ppyeogui's bone grill. Keep in mind that the portion is generous—and even looking at it again, it looks so delicious! Everything comes fully cooked, so you can eat it straight away. If it cools down while you are eating, turn on the heat underneath to keep it warm :)

One huge piece of Paldo Ppyeogui bone grill! There was so much meat on it that it made for a really filling meal. The meat was incredibly tender too. There was not a single dry bit; it was so soft that it separated with just the tongs, which made me very happy :)

Perfect pairings, from Bushman bread to udon noodles
Pile plenty of coleslaw and meat onto Bushman bread, and it is pure heaven. If you are looking for a meat restaurant in Suyeong, this is somewhere I would recommend without hesitation.

This is probably personal preference, but you can each hold a bone and pull off the meat (though it separates so easily that you hardly need to pull!), or take all the meat off first and eat it comfortably like this. My boyfriend pulled it all off for me so I could eat easily, hehe. It was so good to scoop up a big spoonful with the sauce! The sauce was seriously delicious, and it was great for dipping the rice balls too. I could not bear to waste the leftover sauce, so we added stir-fried udon noodles.

The udon noodles seemed to be seasoned already, and mixing them into the sauce was so delicious ㅠ There was still a little sauce left after eating them this way, so I wanted to order a bowl of rice and mix that in too. But I felt like I was about to burst, so sadly I had to give up—that is how good it was!

A Suyeong meat restaurant with unusual sides
We polished off every last bit of the bone grill set at Paldo Ppyeogui, a Suyeong favorite! The owner was so kind, the meat itself was delicious, and the sauce was truly outstanding. With so many unusual sides, it is a great place to make all kinds of perfect combinations. If you are looking for a different kind of meat restaurant in Suyeong, this is the place :)
