Besides pork cutlet, they also have dishes like cheese Napolitan spaghetti and cream kimchi fried rice on a hot plate, great for sharing with a group. There were plenty of drink options to consider too! But in the end we ordered the jumbo gyeongyangsik pork cutlet, cheese Napolitan spaghetti, cream kimchi fried rice, and a drink!

The soup, morning rolls and side dishes

Right after, they brought out the soup, morning roll, and side dishes, and it was genuinely delicious. That familiar-yet-delicious flavor you get at an old-school Western restaurant! The morning roll dipped in strawberry jam — that combo needs no explanation, right? Can't go wrong???

How good is the 9,500-won jumbo pork cutlet?

Deli Donkatsu's jumbo gyeongyangsik pork cutlet came piled high with house-made sauce — sweet, but the meat wasn't tough at all and stayed crispy. Being the jumbo size, the portion was genuinely generous too, super filling!!!!

It came already cut for you, so I got right into eating.

Eating it the wall's way: cutlet and salad in a morning roll

'How to eat it deliciously' instructions posted on the wall

There were 'how to eat it deliciously' instructions posted on every wall, so I followed along. First, the original way — enjoying the morning roll with jam.

Then I tried it the recommended way, stuffing the roll with cutlet and salad — both ways were delicious, but the cutlet + salad combo was even better. It felt just like eating a great burger, totally my style haha.

Cheese Napolitan spaghetti on a hot plate

Next, the cheese Napolitan spaghetti!! I recommend this one too!! Wow, the cheese was so thick and gooey, wrapping around the noodles beautifully, and it was still satisfying eaten on its own by the spoonful. Loaded with Vienna sausages too — genuinely no complaints there!!! A flavor pretty much everyone would like.

Cream kimchi fried rice on a hot plate, plus free coffee

The hot-plate cream kimchi fried rice was seriously delicious too!! With the sunny-side-up egg on top ㅠㅠㅠ so good — the cream wrapped around the kimchi fried rice, nutty and light, and I kept marveling at whoever thought up this combination. After the meal, they even had a spot for free coffee, making for a perfect, flawless finish haha.

Verdict: is Deli Donkatsu worth a stop in Songjeong?
