Wondering where to take a weekend day trip with your kid, or where to find good food nearby — because even sightseeing waits for a good meal? The area around Gijang's Osiria tourism complex and Songjeong Beach in Busan is especially popular on weekends.
Today I'm introducing a must-stop spot for families before or after visiting Lotte World Adventure Busan, IKEA, or the outlet mall — a lunch place in Songjeong, Busan called Deli Donkatsu. It's just 5–10 minutes away by car, so the access is really convenient too!
Where is Deli Donkatsu, and what are its hours and parking?
Deli Donkatsu is at 146 Songjeong-jungang-ro 9beon-gil, 1st floor, Haeundae-gu, Busan, about 480m on foot from Exit 1 of Songjeong Station (Donghae Line), which makes it great for travelers without a car too. It's open 11:00–20:00 (last order 19:00) Monday to Thursday and Saturday to Sunday, but on Fridays it only runs lunch service, from 11:00 to 15:00 (last order 14:00).

There's no dedicated parking lot at Deli Donkatsu in Songjeong, but it was convenient enough to park on the nearby roadside or right in front of the shop!
💡 On Fridays they only open until 3pm, so be sure to check the hours before you go so you don't make a wasted trip!
Is Deli Donkatsu easy to visit with a child?
The inside of Deli Donkatsu is really clean and has that warm, old-school gyeongyangsik (Western-style Korean) restaurant feeling. Above all, the owner and staff were so kind that we could relax and eat with our kid without feeling self-conscious at all.
If you're a parent of a young child, you'll understand — whether a restaurant has baby chairs really matters when you're choosing where to eat. This place has baby chairs on hand, so families can settle in comfortably. It's a spot where nostalgic flavors that win over adults coexist with menu items kids love, so it fills up fast during weekend meal times. If you want to avoid the wait, I'd recommend going a little earlier!
For this visit, we ordered the large gyeongyangsik pork cutlet and the cheese cutlet to eat heartily.
Large gyeongyangsik pork cutlet, 12,500 won: how to build the morning roll burger
Deli Donkatsu's gyeongyangsik pork cutlet is ₩12,500 for the large size and ₩9,500 for regular. It's a different style from the thick Japanese-style katsu you often see these days — this is a truly nostalgic gyeongyangsik style. Ordering the generous large size made it even more filling and perfect for sharing!
What comes with it: crispy pork cutlet + smooth soup + morning bread + macaroni + cabbage salad
A tip: cut the cutlet (which comes drenched in a rich sauce) in half and stuff it with the salad inside the included morning bread to make a homemade cutlet burger — kids absolutely love it!
Cheese cutlet, 12,500 won: mozzarella that pours out
Deli Donkatsu's cheese cutlet is ₩12,500, and if you're a cheese lover, there's no walking past this one. The moment you cut into it, an explosive amount of mozzarella cheese comes pouring out, so it wins you over on looks alone. The rich, savory cheese flavor mingles with the crispy breading and delivers a mouthful of happiness. It's a best-seller the kids devour too!
