With three of us, we debated between the assortment options and ended up going with the Gogit-ri Assortment A sized up with an extra 100g. It came to ₩56,000, and it was just the right amount for three people alongside the side dishes.

The side dishes were set, and the pre-grilled meat we ordered arrived — the visual was overwhelming.

They called it pre-grilled, but it looked almost fully cooked already, so it just needed a quick sear to taste. The meat carrying a faint charcoal scent looked so appetizing.

It already came out nearly fully cooked. Pork belly, pork neck, and gabrisal together — it puts you in a good mood :)

The staff also cut up the mushrooms and kimchi for us, so we just had to grill the remaining raw parts and taste.

Tasting the meat, it was really good.

It was fun to pick and taste each of the three cuts — pork belly, neck, and gabrisal — and each had its own distinct flavor, which I loved.

The pork belly had a golden fat ratio with savory juices, the pork neck was sliced thick and chewy, and I especially loved the gabrisal — its chewy texture and the natural meaty flavor kept pulling me back for more. Thanks to the direct charcoal pre-grilling, the outside was browned while the inside stayed juicy — people had said this was a great pork spot, and it really was.

To finish at Gogit-ri 88beonji, we ordered charcoal fried rice as an extra. Cheese was an additional ₩1,000.
