Gangnam poke restaurant with phone-stand solo seats: Ola Poke Gangnam
In short
Ola Poke Gangnam is a poke and salad restaurant in the basement shopping passage of Ssangyong Platinum Value, near Exit 4 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. Two of us ordered two solo poke-and-soup sets and shared tuna poke, garlic shrimp poke, spicy tomato soup and mushroom soup. Every wall-facing solo seat at Ola Poke Gangnam has its own phone stand, which makes it an easy spot for a solo salad lunch near Gangnam Station.

I was looking for something light to eat near Gangnam Station and ended up at Ola Poke Gangnam. I said I wanted to eat light — I didn't say I wanted to eat little. There were two of us, and we each ordered a solo poke + soup set.
Where is Ola Poke Gangnam, and how do you find the B1F entrance?
Ola Poke Gangnam is at 104 Bisanga, B1F, Ssangyong Platinum Value, 46 Teheran-ro 4-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's walking distance from Exit 4 of Gangnam Station, but once I got to the building, finding the actual shop was a bit tricky.

Go down to the basement level of the building (from some exits it counts as the first floor) and head into the shopping passage where Yamsaem Gimbap is. Right at the entrance there's a big yellow sign that says 'liquor discount market Behouse.' You came for poke, so seeing a liquor discount sign might make you briefly question your route — but just keep going.

Walk a little further into the passage and the orange-colored Ola Poke storefront appears. If you use Yamsaem Gimbap and the liquor discount sign as landmarks, you'll probably get lost a little less than I did on my first visit. I already did the getting-lost part, so hopefully no one else has to.

The store is decorated in white and orange, giving it a bright, clean overall feel. Photos of the poke bowls and menu signage are posted around the entrance, so once you reach the door, the shop is easy to spot.

They were also running a point reward promotion, giving back 7% of the payment amount. Seeing a number like 7% in this economy suddenly makes me feel like I should become a long-term regular. I came for poke and left fully convinced by their customer retention strategy.

Menu, kiosk ordering and the solo poke + soup set
Ola Poke Gangnam offers a variety of poke bowls based on the main topping — tuna, shrimp, salmon, chicken breast, and more. You order and pay at the Toss Place kiosk. You can order poke on its own, or get a solo set that comes with soup.
We ordered two sets and picked tuna poke and garlic shrimp poke. For soup, one of us chose spicy tomato soup and the other chose mushroom soup.

Solo seats with phone stands and the self-serve bar at Ola Poke Gangnam
Inside, there are 2-top and 4-top tables, and everything is kept neat and tidy overall. It worked well for the two of us eating together, and the atmosphere wouldn't feel awkward for a solo diner either. It seemed like a good option for anyone looking for a quick salad or poke bowl near Gangnam Station.

The store isn't huge, but with regular tables and separate solo seats, there was actually more seating than I expected. There were several wall-facing solo seats too. We didn't come to eat alone, but this is exactly the kind of seating that would make it convenient for anyone looking for a solo salad spot near Gangnam Station.
Best of all, every seat had its own phone stand. That prevents the unnecessary crisis of propping your phone against a water cup while eating alone, only to have it suddenly topple over. The open kitchen and counter were kept clean too, with orange as an accent color that made the whole space feel fresh. With solo and group seating clearly separated, it also looked easy to seat yourself according to however many people you're with.

On one side there's a self-serve bar with water, cups, and utensils. The utensils were stocked very generously. Just grab them when your food comes out.

What comes on the garlic shrimp poke bowl
First up is the garlic shrimp poke. It was packed with grilled shrimp, corn, chickpeas, lentils, red onion, seaweed, pineapple, and more toppings. There was a generous amount of shrimp on top too, so the main topping was very clearly the star.

With so many toppings and such a generous amount, one poke bowl alone was fairly filling. Unlike a salad that's just piled with vegetables, this one had grains, beans, and shrimp together, so it never felt lacking as a full meal.

Tuna poke plus spicy tomato and mushroom soup
The tuna poke was also packed edge to edge with tuna, flying fish roe, corn, seaweed, pineapple, beans, and vegetables. I liked that the toppings weren't scattered thin — the whole bowl was completely full of ingredients. You could mix it all together at once, or pick out toppings you wanted little by little.

The tuna wasn't just a few token pieces in the middle — there was plenty of it throughout. At first, with so many ingredients, you might pause wondering where to start mixing, but you eventually meet all of it anyway. Let the bowl sort it out.
Eating the spicy tomato soup alongside the poke made the whole meal feel even more substantial. I liked being able to switch from the cold poke to the warm soup in between bites. Korean-style wellness — never skipping a warm broth even while eating a salad. For the other set, I picked the mushroom soup. The chunky bits and smooth creamy flavor were both good.

Is Ola Poke Gangnam better for solo dining or two people?
With two poke bowls and soups laid out together, the set turned out more filling than expected. There's an old bias that salads leave you hungry again soon after — but I actually ended up pretty full. Still, since it was technically a salad, I figure I can convince myself I was on a diet.
Ola Poke Gangnam was a solid stop when you're craving a salad or poke bowl that covers vegetables and protein near Gangnam Station. It worked well for the two of us sharing different poke bowls and soups, and with solo seats and phone stands available, it also looked convenient for anyone searching for a solo salad restaurant near Gangnam Station.
