Hi everyone, I'm your everyday health and lifestyle blogger. With the weather getting noticeably hotter lately, I've been feeling my energy drain fast. Times like this call for eating well, right? So my family and I headed out for some proper nourishment at a duck restaurant near Starfield Bucheon — Grill Duck Hangari Barbecue (그릴덕 항아리바베큐), a place that's perfect for boosting your stamina.

The building itself already gave off serious charcoal duck specialist vibes. It's a standalone building, so it's easy to find, and it left a clean, put-together impression.
Parking and menu at Grill Duck: meals ₩11,000, jar BBQ set ₩59,000
Grill Duck Hangari Barbecue is a standalone charcoal duck restaurant on Beoman-ro in Siheung, with parking available in the back yard of the store. Meal items like the duck soup hot pot and buckwheat noodles are ₩11,000, while the hangari barbecue set we picked was ₩59,000.

We drove there and had zero worries about parking — the back yard is huge, so even less confident drivers should be able to park comfortably.

Right at the entrance, a big menu board greets you first. The meal items like duck soup hot pot or buckwheat noodles are ₩11,000 too, so it looks like an easy place to drop by without much of a budget.

Once inside, looking over the menu, the set composition was really well put together. We decided to order the hangari barbecue set. And the price is such a bargain — ₩59,000! Getting to try all of this for under ₩60,000 feels pretty reasonable, doesn't it?
What comes in the ₩59,000 hangari barbecue set
The Grill Duck hangari barbecue set brings Korean pork belly, chewy shoulder cut, and duck barbecue all on one table. Since the meat comes pre-grilled from the jar, the wait is short, and it's served together with aged kimchi, minari, and bean sprouts.

The main dish we'd been waiting for finally arrived! A combo where you can enjoy Korean pork belly, chewy shoulder cut, and duck barbecue all at once. Maybe because the meat is jar-aged, but the fat was totally trimmed off, leaving a lean, clean-looking presentation that was almost art. With the aged kimchi, minari, and bean sprouts piled onto the grill too, just looking at it made me feel full already.

Each table has its own clean grill set up, so you can keep grilling warm meat right to the end. The subtle charcoal aroma rising up really got my appetite going.

The sizzling sound of the meat cooking was seriously appetite-triggering. Since it comes pre-grilled from the jar already, you don't have to wait long before digging in — a huge advantage. I really love that it comes pre-grilled. I was so hungry, haha.

I picked up a well-cooked piece of duck and dipped it right into the house sauce. The sweetness of the mustard sauce paired so well with the savory richness of the duck. There's also a spicy sauce that goes great with the mustard. You can just grab the sauces yourself from the self-serve bar.

Pork belly has to be paired with aged kimchi, right? Loading a crisp, tangy piece of kimchi onto a thick slice of meat cuts any greasiness completely, and I just kept eating.

The mushrooms grilled alongside were also a treat. Cooked golden in the meat's fat, the chewy texture was outstanding.

They also gave us plenty of minari and bean sprouts, and eating them alongside the meat made me feel healthier. The freshness of the vegetables cut through and made the meat's flavor even cleaner.
Perilla duck soup at Grill Duck: how restorative is it?
The Grill Duck duck soup comes in a hot pot generously topped with perilla powder, and it arrived right after we ordered. The broth was thick and nutty, with plenty of meat inside — hearty enough as a full stamina-boosting bowl.

The steaming duck soup came out right after we ordered. It's topped with a generous amount of perilla powder, so the broth is really thick and nutty.

Ladling some into a small dish and taking a sip of the broth, my whole body felt instantly soothed. With plenty of meat inside too, it was exactly the hearty stamina food I needed. This was genuinely delicious...
Self-serve bar and free dessert coffee
At the Grill Duck self-serve bar, you can grab extra side dishes, wrap vegetables like lettuce and perilla leaves, and sauces yourself. On the way out, there's a coffee machine where you can pour yourself an americano, hot chocolate, or milk coffee, and there's ice available too.

Any side dishes you're running low on can be grabbed easily from the self-serve bar. The wrap vegetables like lettuce and perilla leaves are kept really fresh, which built a lot of trust.

On the way out after finishing our meal, you can also enjoy a relaxed cup of coffee. There's a clean coffee machine set up, so we wrapped things up perfectly with a little palate cleanser. Americano, hot chocolate, and milk coffee are all available. There's ice too, so I made myself an iced americano.
This duck restaurant near Starfield Bucheon, Grill Duck Hangari Barbecue, is a perfect stamina-boosting meal spot — great for bringing your parents along, and it holds up well as a family dinner destination too. Just note that weekend peak hours can get busy, so I'd recommend visiting with some time to spare. On a day when you need to recharge your energy, this was a really solid choice for a hearty meal. Pair it with a trip to Starfield City Bucheon afterward for the perfect combo — it's only 10 minutes away by car!
