Dongtan Station pho restaurant with a sunset bench wait: Mibundang
In short
Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch is a newly opened pho restaurant on the first floor of the Dongtan Station Richian shopping arcade in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. Orders are placed at a kiosk outside the shop — brisket pho 10,000 won, brisket-flank-tendon pho 13,000 won, buffalo wings 3,500 won — and the wait passes on a bench watching the sunset, with portions that feel about 1.5 times larger than other branches, so the free noodle refill isn't even needed. Rich broth and quiet bar seating make Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch an easy choice for a solo meal.

Where is Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch, and what are the hours?
Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch is a newly opened pho place on the first floor of Dongtan Station Richian Shopping Center, open daily from 11:00 to 21:00 with a break time from 15:00 to 17:00. As someone who loves pho, I got some great news — Mibundang, a pho spot I used to love, opened a branch at Dongtan Station! There used to be one near my old office and I ate there all the time, so when I heard one opened at Dongtan Station too, my husband and I rushed over right away haha.

Living up to its reputation as a newly opened Dongtan Station hotspot, there was already a line out front when we arrived.

Mibundang has a culture of quiet dining. So instead of a chatty, noisy vibe, everyone focuses quietly on their food! It might feel a little unfamiliar for first-time visitors, but personally I think this atmosphere is part of Mibundang's charm. It's totally fine to visit alone, and solo diners really can enjoy their meal without feeling awkward.

Here's what we ordered today!!

Waiting on the bench outside, watching the sunset
They had cold hutgae tea (Japanese raisin tree tea) ready for waiting customers. There's a bench out front so it's comfortable to sit and wait, and lately the sunset has been so pretty that my husband and I chatted while watching the sky, and the waiting time flew by haha!
Inside Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch: bar seats and bag hooks

Seating at Mibundang Dongtan Station is bar-table style, and you can hang your bag behind your seat, so it doesn't take up aisle space and you can eat comfortably.
Each seat had small thoughtful touches too. If you look on the table, there's a sauce bottle~

There were hair ties and a mask hanger prepared, and the drawer at each seat had chopsticks neatly arranged.
Pickled onions, danmuji (pickled radish), pickled chili, small plates, chopstick rests, and water are set on the bar in front of your seat. If you run low on side dishes or water while eating, just place it on the bar and mention it and they'll refill it right away haha.
Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch menu and prices

Finally, the pho arrived, generously portioned!! My husband ordered the most basic menu item, the brisket pho (₩10,000). At Mibundang, the broth base is the same for every pho, so you just choose based on which meat you like. Personally, out of all the meats, brisket is my favorite — the softest and most savory haha.

I usually like my pho with a variety of meats, so I ordered the brisket, point, tendon pho (₩13,000). Brisket, point cut, and chewy tendon — it's all evenly mixed in. Being able to try different cuts, I was glad I ordered the three-meat pho haha.

Asking for cilantro, plus free broth, bean sprout and noodle refills
At Mibundang, they'll give you cilantro if you ask separately. If you love cilantro, be sure to request it and load it on!
And here's the really great thing about Mibundang — broth, bean sprout, and noodle refills are free haha! For big eaters who love pho, you get a bowl already loaded with meat, and you can still add more noodles or broth on top, so it's really good value.

The brisket was soft and savory, and the point cut was clean-tasting with a deep meaty flavor. The tendon especially had a soft yet chewy texture, so if you love tendon, I highly recommend it!!

The broth, and a portion 1.5 times bigger than other Mibundang branches
Mibundang's pho is known for its rich broth — clean but subtly deep! The broth is rich but never heavy or thick, the kind you keep spooning up, so I devoured it haha. So good~~
And Mibundang Dongtan Station seems to give about 1.5 times more than other branches... haha. They normally offer free noodle refills, but the initial portion was already so generous that personally I didn't even need to refill haha.

Buffalo wings on the side, 3,500 won
We also ordered buffalo wings! Pho alone can feel a little plain, but pairing it with spicy wings was a great combo. Eating the slightly spicy buffalo wings really perked up the appetite :)

They were fried nice and crispy, so if you want to add one side dish, this is a good light option to pair with your meal.

On the way out, they even had mouthwash and candy ready, a thoughtful touch all the way to the end.

Is Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch good for a solo meal?
Above all, the quiet, food-focused atmosphere makes it great for family and friends, but also an easy place to eat alone without feeling awkward. There are plenty of places to go when you're craving pho, but Mibundang has a flavor that strangely keeps calling you back once you've had it haha. Whenever you're craving a bowl of deep, rich pho, or want a comfortable, hearty solo meal, Mibundang Dongtan Station — a pho spot near Dongtan Station — is always easy to visit.
