Pocheon Italian restaurant for Saturday lunch: chicken risotto &

I went on a little trip to Pocheon recently and stopped by Eoneu Dal (어느달), an Italian restaurant known for its pasta and risotto. 🍝 The place had such a clean, warm vibe that it seemed great not just for a date but for a family meal or group gathering too. The exterior is a clean white, giving the whole place a tidy, modern feel. 🤍

One thing I really liked was the parking. 🚗 There's space not just in front but also behind the building, which made things really convenient.

There was also a waiting machine near the entrance. From other reviews I'd read, there's often a wait during the lunchtime peak.

Interior atmosphere and seating

Walking through the door, the inside was just as clean and simple as the exterior.

The white tones combined with a warm touch gave the whole space a cozy, comfortable feeling.

There's a mix of seating from 4-person to 2-person tables, with both chair seating and sofa seating.

On one side there's also a group section for about 8–9 people, partitioned off. So it seemed like a good fit not just for couples but for family gatherings or group meals with friends too. 😊

There were also baby chairs ready to go, which looked convenient for families visiting with kids.

Little flower-bed-like touches decorated throughout the space made the atmosphere feel even more sentimental. 🌷 Maybe that's why, around noon on the Saturday I visited, there were quite a few couples and married pairs among the guests.

With this kind of atmosphere, it really did seem like it'd suit a Pocheon date. 💕

Another convenient touch — every table had a QR code for ordering. No need to flag down staff; you could check the menu and order right from the table.

Eoneu Dal had a bigger menu than I expected. Monthly special / salad / steak / pasta / pilaf / risotto — a whole spread of Italian dishes to choose from.

After ordering, it wasn't long before a warm salt bread arrived as the starter. 🥐 Eaten while still warm, it was savory and light — perfect to pick at while waiting for the mains. Starting the meal with warm bread put me in a good mood right away. 😊

Salmon salad

It looked fresh and vibrant right from the start. 🌿 The salmon was more generous than I expected, and the vegetables that came with it were nice and crisp. A perfect appetizer to whet the appetite before the mains. 🥗

Beef tomato pasta

And now the main dish I'd been waiting for! Doesn't it just look gorgeous? 🍝❤️ This pasta comes topped with beef carpaccio, and the combination of tender beef with tomato pasta worked better than I expected.

The beef was tender, not chewy at all, and paired with the bright tang of the tomato sauce it never felt heavy.

Pickles for a palate cleanser! Once we'd nearly finished them, a staff member noticed and kindly brought out more haha.

Chicken risotto

Personally, this was one of the most satisfying dishes we had that day. 🤎

On top was a generous serving of nicely seared chicken thigh.

The risotto itself was creamy and rich, and eaten with the chicken thigh it really came together beautifully 👍

Green tangerine ade

Can't forget the green tangerine ade we ordered alongside the food! 🍹 Refreshing and crisp, it went really well with both the pasta and the risotto.
