Where to park at Oseuseu in Pocheon
There's a free public parking lot marked on the map, so parking is easy. I also saw cars parked in the alley right in front of the store.

It's close to Pocheon Market, so access is good, and with the alley or the public lot nearby, it was easy to visit by car.

A wood-toned space with French café vibes
The moment you step into Oseuseu in Pocheon, the warm, cozy wood-toned interior catches your eye. It feels almost like a small European-style French café, and I thought it would be perfect for a date in Pocheon, a get-together with friends, or even a blind date.

The little decorative touches placed throughout the space and the neat table layout put me in a good mood before the food even arrived.
What we ordered
Order list Woo-samgyeop amatriciana Ground meat & aged kimchi pasta Lemonade

Lemonade
I ordered a refreshing lemonade to go with the meal. It wasn't too sweet, so it paired nicely with the pasta. Even a sip after finishing the meal made for a clean finish.

Woo-samgyeop amatriciana
Amatriciana is such a familiar, comforting spicy tomato-based pasta that I had to order it! Familiar flavors can be a trap, though, haha. But this woo-samgyeop (beef short rib) amatriciana had something special that made it Oseuseu's own.
What could easily be a plain spicy tomato pasta is piled generously with short rib, and the subtle smoky char and juices from the meat blend with the tomato sauce, making the flavor much deeper.

The balance between the short rib and the spicy sauce was excellent — I finished it all without a hint of heaviness. It's the kind of crowd-pleasing, well-made flavor that pretty much anyone would like.

Ground meat & aged kimchi pasta
This was the dish I was most curious about and most looking forward to — the ground meat & aged kimchi pasta. I'd never seen aged kimchi paired with pasta before, so I ordered it in the spirit of adventure. The result... a total success!!!
I want to go back to Oseuseu just for this dish.

On top of a clean, savory oil pasta base, the well-stir-fried ground meat gives a nice chew, and the deep, tangy-savory aroma of the nicely browned aged kimchi (mukeunji) adds an unexpectedly amazing synergy. The freshness of the aged kimchi cuts right through the richness of the oil, so every bite made me go 'wow'.
Thanks to the familiar taste of aged kimchi, I think my parents would love it too, and I'd like to come back with the whole family sometime. If you visit Oseuseu, you absolutely have to order this aged kimchi pasta!!
Who should visit Oseuseu in Pocheon
