Sweet, delicious baked goods are always a good idea. I especially love madeleines and financiers! Among the famous dessert spots near Gongdeok Station, Fluffy Bake Shop caught my eye, so I went straight there this time. And it really was a baked-goods spot worth the trip!

Where Fluffy Bake Shop is and when it opens
Fluffy Bake Shop is a Gongdeok Station bakery café at 8 Baekbeom-ro 31-gil, Dong 2 Sangga 1F 106, Mapo-gu, Seoul (Gongdeok-dong 479). Hours are Mon–Fri 08:00–18:30 and Sat–Sun 11:00–16:30. Getting there from Gongdeok Station, and parking
Come out of Gongdeok Station Exit 2 and keep going right, and you'll see Gongdeok Roastery! Facing that building, turn right again and you'll spot a white sign with a cute madeleine logo — that's the café!
There's a bus stop nearby, and if you're driving, there's underground parking too! It's the underground lot at SK Leaders View Danji 2, and you get 1 hour of free parking :)
Inside the small, cozy Gongdeok café
From the exterior alone, Fluffy Bake Shop had this cozy, cute interior that I fell for right away.

Once inside, it turned out this wasn't just a takeout-only spot — there was seating to enjoy dessert and drinks inside too!

A compact space with thoughtful touches everywhere! In the back, desserts that looked seriously delicious were on display, and further inside there was even a baking space where everything's made in-house.

How many kinds of baked goods does Fluffy Bake Shop have?
Baked goods lineup 16 madeleines & 9 financiers & 3 canelés
- Madeleines / matcha, hwangchiju (aged yellow cheese), carrot, chestnut, raspberry, lemon, blue cheese, hallabong (Korean citrus), Nutella, espresso pecan, chocolate, plain, vanilla, black sesame, Earl Grey, yuzu
- Financiers / plain, chocolate, fig, walnut caramel, gamtae (seaweed), nunetine (choco-hazelnut wafer), apple churro, almond, melon
- Canelés / plain, Earl Grey, vanilla
The variety of baked goods was impressive! Broadly there were financiers, madeleines, and canelés — plus salt bread and egg tarts too!

I didn't pick the salt bread this time, but apparently it's delicious too, so if you like it, try it and let me know how it is haha

Oh, and besides that, there was a good variety of drinks too — tea, coffee, non-coffee options. If you're heading to this Gongdeok Station café, check the drink menu too!

Gift packaging options for dessert boxes
At Fluffy Bake Shop, a Gongdeok bakery café, you can buy pieces individually, but it's also perfect for putting together as a pretty dessert gift.

For plain takeout, each item is individually wrapped and packed into a paper bag!
There's also a range of packaging options — a 4-slot pulp lunchbox, 6- and 15-slot shopping bag boxes. Good to have choices depending on your taste or purpose, right?

How to place a group order
Baked goods like these make great group gifts or thank-you presents! If you need them for a company, a school event, or as a group gift or thank-you gift, just call the shop and they'll guide you through it. For fresh ingredients, they ask for about 3 days' notice, so it's best to reach out ahead of time :)
What the pastries tasted like
The magic of picking one after another as you browse, haha. You load a tray one piece at a time and pay at the front!

I picked vanilla madeleine, lemon madeleine, chocolate madeleine, and Nutella madeleine! I also chose plain and nunetine financiers! And I neatly added one egg tart too!

You could tell right at the shop that the ingredients here were a cut above — a real Gongdeok dessert spot. They use AOP-grade Lescure butter! The topping ingredients that go in also seemed high quality and trustworthy.
I liked that each piece was individually wrapped inside the paper bag. One small downside: since you couldn't tell what was inside, I ended up having to tear open or damage the wrapping to check, haha.
Plain financier
With the plain financier, I could taste a subtle, fragrant aroma unlike other bakeries! And it had a chewy yet moist texture.

Nunettine financier
Crispy on the outside with added sweetness that makes the flavor richer, the nunetine financier really does taste just like nunetine, haha.

Chocolate madeleine
Personally, I preferred the madeleines over the financiers. First off, the size is generous, so one bite gives you a mouthful — and that feels great! It was appealing how each flavor's ingredients felt fully present inside too. The chocolate had deep, luxurious flavor and aroma!

Nutella madeleine with a marshmallow center
This Nutella one was especially delicious! It was packed generously with Nutella chocolate inside, haha. From the white marshmallow bits dotted throughout to the macadamia — you have to try this one!
Lemon madeleine
This has to be the most famous madeleine flavor of all! The lemon aroma was fragrant and refreshing, and I really enjoyed it. Not dry at all — moist and soft, with that flavor that whets your appetite!

Vanilla madeleine
I tried the vanilla madeleine because I love vanilla so much — it felt like a plain madeleine, but the little bit of vanilla cream tucked inside was a cute touch, haha!

Egg tart
I couldn't tell just from looking how crispy it would be, but the egg tart, lightly reheated in the oven at home, was as good as I'd hoped! The shape was pretty like a flower, and the egg filling was exactly the right flavor. Financiers and madeleines aside, the egg tart was delicious too — which makes me curious about the canelés and salt bread I didn't get to try. I'll have to go back and try those next time!

How to store the baked goods at home
For reference on storage — it's best to eat all these baked goods as soon as possible on the day of purchase! They keep for 2–3 days in a cool spot, and if sealed and frozen, they'll keep for 2 weeks.
Naver receipt review event
Those who participate in the Naver receipt review event get a vanilla canelé, or a financier if those run out, as a gift — don't miss this event either!
The little postcards stuck around here and there were so cute too, you know? They made me smile!!! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, Fluffy Bake Shop just puts you in a good mood. If you're looking for a great Gongdeok Station dessert spot or a café to enjoy baked goods at, definitely give it a visit!
