This new café in Mangwon-dong has wood-toned tables arranged neatly and tidily, making for a cozy, cute little space 🤍

Most tables seat two, but they can be pushed together for groups. It has exactly the calm Mangwon-dong vibe I love — the space is so peaceful and warm it'd be great for reading alone or chatting with friends 📚 ·₊˚

There's also a long bar-style table. Natural light comes in beautifully and you get a view of Mangwon-dong, making it a peaceful spot for laptop work.

The music selection was mellow and lovely too, and with Mangwon Market and all the little shops nearby, it also feels perfect for a date course after a meal ❤︎

Iced café latte at PICT Roastery: choosing your beans

PICT Roastery's own cups are so cute. The latte, topped with a big chunk of ice, was so nutty and delicious on its own, but even better paired with dessert. You could choose between sour and nutty beans, so I could pick to my taste ◜◡◝ They sell hand-drip coffee made with beans roasted in-house every week, so the coffee is great — and I bet this new café will soon build up plenty of regulars 🤍

How does the 8,000-won pistachio tiramisu taste?

I'm a pistachio lover, so if pistachio is on the menu, I'm ordering it, no question. I'd never seen a pistachio tiramisu before, so I picked it right away!

On top of the moist, fluffy tiramisu, the pistachio cream had a rich, nutty flavor. Not artificial-tasting at all — full of the genuine nutty taste of real pistachio!

The crushed pistachio bits sprinkled on top gave it a nice crunch and doubled the nuttiness. The sponge was moist while still carrying the coffee flavor, and the combo of tiramisu with pistachio cream was the best . . 💗

From couples chatting quietly on a date to people working solo, the customers were varied, and it had exactly the quiet Mangwon-dong café feel I love. The owner was so friendly and kind too, which made it even better 🤍.

I'm so happy a calm, emotional café like this opened up in Mangwon-dong, a neighborhood I love 🤍 Make sure to try the cake topped with nutty pistachio cream and the nutty latte. I visited alone and left fully healed after enjoying delicious coffee and dessert at PICT Roastery Mangwon Branch.
