🍑 Hi, it's Salgussi. I went to Ieo Coffee Roasters, a café near Daeheung Station. Between Gongdeok Station and Daeheung Station there's a pretty forest path, and behind it, tucked in an alley, is this hidden roastery café — and I was so surprised by how good the coffee was. The almond latte was really delicious thanks to high-quality beans and syrup, and the lemonade, packed with real lemon juice, filled that sluggish, tired afternoon with refreshment. The handmade egg financier was also seriously well made! Here's the story of how I found this well-hidden café! 💕

Inside Ieo Coffee Roasters on a weekday afternoon: seats and mood

There were a lot of customers inside Ieo Coffee Roasters. Even on a weekday afternoon it was nearly full, with people enjoying their coffee in the shade by the window seats near the entrance.

There are a few outlets inside, so you'll see people working on laptops too. The vibe is easygoing and comfortable — not loud at all.

A handmade financier, an almond latte with beautiful latte art, an americano where you can choose your beans, and a lemonade full of lemon syrup — every single thing was made with care, and everything was delicious!

How do the almond latte and lemonade taste?

The moment I took one sip of the almond latte, out came a dolphin sound~ mmm~~~🐬 It wasn't sweet, and had an almond aroma with a nutty flavor! My husband, who always just gets an iced americano, said this was genuinely delicious — 'they're good at coffee here~' 👍👍

Egg financier baked in-house at Ieo Coffee Roasters

I thought it would be like an egg tart, but it was a very soft egg financier. Baked fresh right here, it was a truly heartfelt handmade dessert! I think I'll be coming back often~ It's the kind of café I wish were in my own neighborhood~ 💕
