While looking for a café for dessert near Seoul National University Station, I visited Pulse Line Coffee (펄스라인커피). This time, I chose several items centered on the crumble pie to share with a friend.

Which desserts did we choose to share?
When choosing a café, I also consider the desserts to have with coffee. There were pound cakes, muffins, yogurt, and pies here, so it took some thought to decide. We ordered four items: black sesame pound cake, yellow cheese muffin, mulberry yogurt, and crumble pie.

With all four on the table, it felt plentiful. Sharing them one at a time with my friend meant we could taste different desserts.

What did I like about the crumble pie?
The crumble pie was the item I was most curious about. I have been enjoying seeking out handmade pies lately, so the pie caught my eye first this time too.

The crisp crumble texture went well with the pie. Of the items we had this time, the crumble pie was especially delicious.

I also took several photos before eating. For me, having a pie on the menu was a reason to choose this café.

How were the pound cake, muffin, and yogurt together?
The black sesame pound cake was ₩5,800. I prefer nutty desserts to ones that are only very sweet, so this item caught my attention. I thought it would be a good dessert to have with coffee.

The yellow cheese muffin was ₩4,000. I chose it because I was curious about yellow cheese’s distinctive cheesy flavor. Ordering the pound cake and muffin together made it enjoyable to alternate between different kinds of dessert.

Sometimes one item alone can feel a little lacking, but ordering several was nice because we could choose according to our tastes.

The mulberry yogurt was ₩6,500. Adding yogurt to the pound cake, muffin, and pie gave the selection more variety. I liked being able to taste different styles together.

How much were the four desserts?
The total for the four items we ordered was ₩22,800. The price of each item was as follows.
- Black sesame pound cake: ₩5,800
- Yellow cheese muffin: ₩4,000
- Mulberry yogurt: ₩6,500
- Crumble pie: ₩6,500

What kind of café meet-up did it suit?
It suited spending time with a friend, each choosing items we were curious about and sharing them. I was satisfied because we could sample several desserts rather than having just one.

If I had a date or plans around Seoul National University Station, I thought it would be a fine stop after looking around Sharosugil.

There were choices ranging from nutty pound cake to cheese muffins, yogurt, and pie, which made choosing enjoyable. Trying a little of several kinds also felt like a café dessert tour.

On my next visit, I would like to choose items I did not try this time as well. What stayed with me was the crumble pie and the experience of sharing a variety of desserts.
