I visited Fluffy Bake Shop, a well-known café near Gongdeok Station that's easy to get to, about 150m from Exit 2. They bake their own pastries and salt bread in-house, making it a great spot for a simple bread-and-dessert run. Here's my detailed review.
What kind of café is Fluffy Bake Shop near Gongdeok Station?
Fluffy Bake Shop is a bakery café specializing in baked pastries, a 150m walk from Gongdeok Station Exit 2. You can eat in, but this time I ordered takeout.

Fluffy Bake Shop location, hours and how to find it

It's open every day, so it's a good option if you're looking for a bakery café near Gongdeok Station. Just a heads-up if you're planning a visit — it's closed on September 25 (Friday) and 26 (Saturday) for the Chuseok holiday.

The storefront had a clean, all-white interior that stood out nicely.

Inside, there were a few tables set up, giving off a good vibe for solo visits or a quick stay with a small group.

Cute little props gave the space a charming feel, and overall everything was neatly arranged.
Why Fluffy Bake Shop uses Lescure Charentes-Poitou AOP butter

There was a sign on one side of the store noting that they use Lescure Charentes-Poitou AOP butter.

I also checked out what drinks were available alongside the pastries — americanos, teas, ades, and more were on offer. You can pick whatever suits your taste to go with the bread.

Madeleine and financier flavours and prices at Fluffy Bake Shop
At Fluffy Bake Shop, I grabbed tongs and a tray and browsed around to pick out what I wanted.

Along with salt bread, there were various kinds of madeleines and financiers on display. Madeleine flavors included vanilla, Earl Grey, blue cheese, Nutella, and yuzu. Financiers came in flavors like Nunettine, apple churros, and almond. Popular items can sell out if you visit later in the day, so if there's something specific you want, it might be worth going a bit earlier.

Gift wrapping was also available, with 4-piece, 6-piece, and 15-piece gift boxes ready to go. It seemed like a nice option for gifting to friends or acquaintances.

They said that writing a receipt review gets you a free vanilla canelé.

How the takeout packaging from Fluffy Bake Shop holds up

Everything was carefully packed piece by piece, so I didn't have to worry much while carrying it home.

Taste test: Nutella and blue cheese madeleines, almond financier
Fluffy Bake Shop's Nutella madeleine was sweet, with Nutella tucked inside the soft madeleine. It was even more delicious than eating a plain madeleine alone, thanks to that extra sweetness.

The blue cheese madeleine and almond financier both had a nutty, savory flavor. I thought they'd pair well with coffee or tea.
What the salt bread at Fluffy Bake Shop tastes like

The salt bread was moist and had a soft texture going down.
