Cafe Dongi exterior and entrance

We arrived at Cafe Dongi Yeungnam University Art Center Branch, a recommended spot for a meal near Yeungnam University! Just note that Cafe Dongi is inside the Cheonma Art Center building, haha.

Then let's head into Cafe Dongi~

Please keep the hours in mind, and the break time is from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.!

There is a waiting area by the entrance. We visited at Friday lunchtime and were able to go in without waiting.
A neat interior and the service bar
Maybe because it is a new restaurant, Cafe Dongi was very neat inside, with lots of tables and a stylish feel! There were plenty of seats, so it seemed like lots of Yeungnam University students come here, and I thought it would be nice for a date too, haha.
There were also two separate group rooms >_<

A robot personally brought our order over >_<

Cafe Dongi Yeungnam University Art Center Branch also has a service bar! I loved that there were so many things to help yourself to, including fried eggs, five-grain rice, gim (dried seaweed), gangjeong (sweet crispy snacks), and caramel!
High chairs and aprons are available too. Cafe Dongi says it uses rice grown in the clean DMZ area, which makes it feel even more trustworthy, right?! There were also various events underway, including Dongi membership benefits. You can use the building restrooms, which are separated for men and women.
Grilled set meals and side dishes

Cafe Dongi Yeungnam University Art Center Branch has lots of signature choices, including the Dongi grilled spicy pork set meal, Dongi grilled bulgogi set meal, and Grandma's stir-fried webfoot octopus set meal!
We ordered the grilled spicy pork set meal with kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew), the grilled bulgogi set meal, king shrimp tempura, 50-year-tradition juicy dumplings, and Pepsi Zero Cola.

We brought back gangjeong, eggs, gim, and more from the service bar, haha.

Ta-da! Everything we ordered came out. The portions were generous, and every single thing looked delicious, right?!
Sweet and spicy pork set meal

First, let's try the spicy pork set meal, men's soul food! I liked it even more because they gave us a generous amount of pork!
After one bite, the pork was sweet and spicy and seriously addictive! Eat it with rice and you can finish a whole bowl in no time >_<
We switched the spicy pork set meal to kimchi jjigae! It had plenty of meat and tofu, so it was great to mix right into the rice, haha. It also comes with three basic side dishes!

A drink for dessert came with it too, and it was tangy, refreshing, and delicious!
Sweet-salty bulgogi and crispy sides

This time, let's try the grilled bulgogi set meal. I had a bite of the bulgogi too, and its sweet-salty flavor was absolutely delicious >_< And we can't leave out doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), right?!

The savory doenjang stew was tasty too, haha.

We have to try the shrimp tempura we ordered as a side too, right?

The shrimp tempura was nice and large, crispy outside and tender inside—totally my style!
Lastly, let's try the juicy dumplings.

I took a bite of a dumpling, and the outside was crispy while the inside was packed with meat, making it even tastier with all that juice!

Zero Cola was only ₩1,000, so it was perfect for having a drink, haha. If you are looking for a good restaurant near Yeungnam University, visit Cafe Dongi Yeungnam University Art Center Branch.
