Steak pizza date at Tutti Cucina, an Italian restaurant in Ulsan

It was my birthday last week, so I was happily exchanging messages with people I hadn't spoken to in a while and receiving birthday wishes. I was so grateful that a junior colleague even took a day off to come celebrate with me while I'm on leave from work. As we wondered where to go, we ended up at Tutti Cucina (뚜띠쿠치나), a pasta spot in Ok-dong, Ulsan! It is also popular as a brunch restaurant near Ulsan Grand Park, with such a lovely atmosphere, so I got to enjoy a cozy, happy time without the kids for the first time in ages 😊

Brunch close to Ulsan Grand Park

Tutti Cucina is right by the main entrance of Ulsan Grand Park, so it was incredibly easy to get to—only about a two-minute walk away! The building has basement parking, but I was worried spaces might be limited, so I parked comfortably at Ulsan Grand Park's parking lot instead. Whether you are looking for brunch near Ulsan Grand Park or coming to Ok-dong for pasta, it seems like an easy place to visit without worrying about parking.

Inside the restaurant and the set menu

I heard Tutti Cucina is a very popular Italian restaurant in the Seoul metropolitan area. In Ulsan, there is only this one location in Ok-dong, and it looked like plenty of people came specifically to find it!

I visited at weekday lunchtime, and the interior was very spacious, with nicely arranged tables separated into private areas. I can see why people come here for brunch gatherings near Ulsan Grand Park or pasta dates in Ok-dong. Even on a weekday, the restaurant was bustling with diners!

We took a window-side table with a view of Ulsan Grand Park and slowly looked through the menu. A neat menu was set out at every table, and ordering was easy through a tablet kiosk.

There were lots of value-oriented sets that are easy to enjoy, including brunch sets and pizza-and-pasta sets. We wanted to make the most of it, so we chose the pizza and pasta full set! At a reasonable ₩52,900 for two, it includes one salad, two choices from pizza, pasta, and risotto, plus two ades or beers, so it was an excellent value.

Tutti Cucina is also known for its steak, so we picked its signature tenderloin steak pizza! Switching to this pizza as part of the set cost an extra ₩8,000, but it had plenty of meat and was the tastiest thing we ordered, so I had no regrets! You can also get mini oven-baked bread through a review event; keep that in mind when you visit, because it would be delicious dipped in the salad or pasta sauce 😊

Tenderloin steak pizza and cream pasta

Here is the pizza and pasta full set for two that we ordered! Everything arrived together, so we did not have to wait long—we could take a full-table photo and start eating right away, which was so nice. It looks pretty and wonderfully generous, doesn't it?! By the way, I made a reservation before visiting! I heard that a mini salad is served free when you come in with a reservation. If you are planning brunch near Ulsan Grand Park or pasta in Ok-dong, I recommend reserving ahead so you can make sure to enjoy the refreshing complimentary salad too!

For our salad, we chose the shrimp basil bocconcini salad. It came piled with plump, nicely grilled shrimp, and the texture was so springy from the very first bite.

The fragrant basil pesto dotted throughout and fresh bocconcini cheese went beautifully together, making it perfect for whetting the appetite before the pasta or pizza.

Next was our main dish: the signature tenderloin steak pizza! A chewy wood-fired pizza was topped with lots of fresh, bright salad greens and a truly generous amount of savory steak.

After entering and placing our order, I looked toward the kitchen and saw a huge wood-fired oven. That made me even more excited about the pizza, and when I tried it, the dough was wonderfully chewy and nutty—better than I had expected!

The tenderloin steak on top had a lightly sweet-and-salty seasoning, giving it a flavor almost like an upscale bulgogi pizza.

The meat was quite well cooked, so I was a little worried it might be tough, but not at all—it was tender and juicy. The two of us cleared the whole pizza in the blink of an eye 🤣

For the pasta choice in the set, we went with truffle mixed mushroom cream pasta! As soon as it arrived, a luxurious truffle aroma filled the air, and the sauce was wonderfully thick and plentiful.

The pasta was a slightly thick, flat noodle that soaked up plenty of the cream sauce, giving it an even deeper flavor.

We finished the meal feeling very full and satisfied while sipping the ades that came with it. The standout among everything we ordered was absolutely the signature tenderloin steak pizza! If you are looking for a good restaurant near Ulsan Grand Park or a gathering spot in Ok-dong, I highly recommend Tutti Cucina. I got to eat delicious food, chat excitedly for the first time in ages, and have such a lovely birthday time 😍
