Cream gnocchi and pepperoni mini pizza at Pasta Go, Magok Naru

Pasta Go Magok Branch is a pasta restaurant located at Unit 215, 2nd Floor of Botanic Prugio City, directly connected to Magok Naru Station. I had some errands nearby, and since it was around my partner's quitting time, we met up at Magok Naru to head home together.

We were originally planning to eat dinner at home, but since it was rush hour again, the subway was bound to be jam-packed, so we decided on the spot to grab a light dinner nearby haha. Being connected straight to Magok Naru Station, the location couldn't be better. Pasta Go, a Magok Naru pasta favorite, sits on the 2nd floor of Botanic Prugio City. With so many companies nearby, I'd bet a lot of office workers stop by during lunch too!

What the storefront and seating at Pasta Go look like

Right at the top of the escalator, the Pasta Go sign came into view — surprisingly easy to find :D

When we walked in there were still quite a few customers, but since it was close to closing time, we had plenty of room to take photos of the space. Delivery orders kept going out even while we were eating — this Magok Naru pasta spot really does a lot of delivery business, it seems. The restaurant has 2-person tables on one side, and three group tables that seat 4-6 people on the other.

Pasta Go menu and prices

You order at Pasta Go Magok Branch either via kiosk or the QR code on the table. True to its reputation as a Magok pasta favorite, they had a wide variety — tomato, cream, rosé, oil, and basil pesto pastas, plus gnocchi, risotto, and even cute side pizzas! There was also a special steak dish, but since we came for a light meal, we each just picked a pasta menu we wanted.

How fast does the food come out?

One thing I really liked about this Magok pasta spot was how fast the food came out haha. That kind of speed would make it an easy pick for office workers dropping in during lunch too.

On top of dine-in, they also run a 20% discount for takeout customers, so the value for money was excellent too.

Gnocchi Lover: cream gnocchi with adjustable spice

As a true gnocchi lover, this is what I ordered. The cream sauce's spice level was adjustable, and I went with a slightly spicy version — the little kicks of heat coming through here and there were genuinely delicious! Delicious cream sauce, chewy potato gnocchi, plus mushrooms, croutons, and bacon on top made it really good.

I'd skipped lunch that day so I basically inhaled the whole thing, not gonna lie. The sauce itself was so good I scraped the plate clean. Yep... this really is a Magok Naru pasta favorite.

Dipping the morning bread that came with it into the sauce was, of course, delicious too. Lately I've been trying to keep dinners relatively light but... it was so good I cleaned everything up anyway haha.

Shrimp tomato pasta in the Solo Set

My partner, who loves tomato pasta, went with the shrimp tomato pasta. A pasta that nails the basics. Plenty of shrimp and plenty of sauce made for a satisfying meal.

When's the last time I had a proper tomato pasta like this, haha. I don't usually go out of my way to order tomato pasta, but having it again after a while was great, lol. It also paired really well with the cream gnocchi.

Pepperoni mini pizza on the side

The pepperoni mini pizza we picked as a side. Think about the size of a man's palm. Thin crust, piled high with pepperoni.

It came cut into four pieces, easy to pick up with one hand and just munch away. Selling it as a mini pizza made it feel light and easy to enjoy.

Is Pasta Go Magok Branch worth a visit?

If you're looking for a Magok Naru pasta spot that's great for lunch with coworkers, solo dining, takeout, or delivery, Pasta Go is worth a visit. It also seems popular as a picnic option, so it'd be a good takeout pick for an outing to Seoul Botanic Park or the Botanic Garden! The tomato pasta and cream gnocchi we picked were both good value, tasty, and came in generous portions. It was a great meal.
