There are a few outdoor seats, and once you open the door and step inside, you find the warm, comfortable interior of When You Bite.

Inside this Tangjeong brunch café, green plants and white décor come together in a cozy, warm atmosphere. Two sides of the café have floor-to-ceiling windows, so it gets lots of sunlight and feels airy. It is a great Tangjeong photo spot too—photos turn out really well here.

There are tables for two as well as group tables for several people. Families and guests with babies often visit this Tangjeong favorite, and high chairs are available too.

A brunch dish combining tender sous-vide poached eggs, rich hollandaise sauce, homemade low-sodium Korean pork jambon ham, and spinach cream sauce. It has a gentle, clean taste that is not overwhelming. Such moist eggs.

Signature Lasagna

The signature lasagna is baked with more than 10 layers of sauce and pasta. With 24-hour ragù sauce, béchamel sauce, and wonderfully moist lasagna, it is a brunch dish substantial enough for a filling meal because the ragù contains plenty of meat. It is generously filled, and the tangy tomato-based ragù is just so delicious.

100-Hour Jambon-Beurre

The jambon-beurre I had been craving lately.

This jambon-beurre sandwich is made with When You Bite's homemade low-sodium Korean pork jambon ham. Served on ciabatta with butter, basil pesto, and olives, it has a really clean taste. The potatoes that came alongside were delicious too—crispy outside and soft inside.

There was more jambon ham than I expected, and it did have basil pesto, but I found myself wishing for more pesto. There was a little less pesto compared with the amount of ham, haha. I really like basil pesto, haha. And the sauce~ It has a lightly spicy kick, and dipping it in that sauce is another great touch.
