I've been really diligent about wedding invitation get-togethers lately hahaha. With just 1 month left until the wedding, this is peak season for them. This time the meetup goes to Pangyo!
I found this place while searching for a good pasta restaurant in Pangyo! Give myself a round of applause for finding it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It's none other than 📍Andover.

Andover's exterior and terrace, and what the name means
Andover is a Western restaurant on the first floor of Pangyoyeok-ro 10beon-gil, and the exterior alone is so pretty, right? Hahaha. I wondered what "Andover" meant — turns out it's a small city near Boston in the US where the owner actually lived while studying abroad!
So Andover is a space built by one family, and maybe that's why every corner is so pretty. Let's go inside!
Now that the weather's cooled down, it'd be perfect to enjoy the outdoor terrace. In fact, by the time we finished eating and left, there were already people dining out on the terrace — totally ideal for a relaxed pasta or brunch.
Inside Andover: atmosphere and seating for groups
You can really feel the owner's love for this place. There's not a single spot that isn't pretty hahaha.
Plus, the tables are spaced wide apart and come in various types, so it seemed great for group gatherings. I was there for a wedding invite meetup, and the table behind me seemed to be having a wine gathering — the sound of clinking wine glasses just made it feel even nicer ✨✨
I made a reservation ahead of time just in case, and there was this cute little stopper marking my reserved table!
On a weekday evening, it wasn't crowded at all! The menu can be checked via the QR code on the table!

They say Andover's menu and recipes were all developed together by the family, discussing each dish one by one — maybe that's why the menu feels so warm and personal hahaha. In particular, there are dishes like flounder or cod that you don't often see elsewhere, so I think it'd really hit the spot for anyone who loves Western-style fish dishes. My friend actually loves fish dishes too and said she wants to come back!
Andover's drink menu and corkage policy
The drink menu is pretty varied too! And corkage is allowed! With a lineup that pairs so well with wine, it made me think this would be a great spot for a wine date in Pangyo with a special someone.

Jambon cream pasta and burrata tomato salad at Andover
🍝Jambon cream pasta_₩25,000. The pasta eaten with the jambon (ham) was salty in the best way, and I kept going back for more. If you like cream pasta or jambon, definitely recommend! The ham slices were so big and wide, it felt extra generous.
🥗Burrata tomato salad_₩19,000. Since I'm on a diet, I figured I'd try a salad too. They break the burrata cheese apart into small pieces like this.
When I put a piece of burrata on top of the salad and popped it in my mouth, I had to admit — this is a salad spot too! I'm genuinely picky about salads, but Andover's salad was delicious!
Andover's signature lasagna, 29,000 won
🍝Signature lasagna_₩29,000. The moment I saw Andover's menu, this was the dish I knew I had to order. I already love lasagna, so how could I resist that visual, hahaha. Sure enough, it came out generously thick and hearty.
With a full bite, there was so much meat that all I could think was, wow, this is really good hahaha.
Wouldn't you say this is worth recommending for a Pangyo wedding invite meetup?! A hearty spread was complete! I'd been searching around for a good pasta restaurant in Pangyo for a while now, but now I don't need to think twice — it's "Andover!!"

It was still light out when we went in, but by the time we left it had already turned to night — that autumn weather 🍂🍁🍂🍁. Andover was comfortable and kind the whole time we were there.
