I wanted a bit of atmosphere on an ordinary weekday lunch, so I went to Andover, a brunch spot known as a Pangyo favorite. It's also known for being recommended by actor Ryu Seung-ryong, so I had high expectations before I even got there.

Today I'm giving you an honest rundown of the dishes I actually tried at Andover, plus location, parking, the vibe of the space, prices, and hours — so stick with me to the end!
Where is Andover in Pangyo, and what about parking and hours?

Andover is located on the 1st floor of 10-7 Pangyoyeok-ro 10beon-gil, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Hours are Tuesday to Friday 11:30–22:00 with a break from 15:30–17:00, and Saturday–Sunday 11:30–22:00 with no break. It's closed on Mondays.
Parking is available in front of and beside the restaurant, and if spots are tight, you can use the public parking lot on the Baekhyeon-dong café street.

This spot seems to be a go-to for people looking for a Pangyo brunch restaurant in this neighborhood. With reservations, group bookings, and baby chairs all available, it seems great for gatherings or visits with kids too.
Inside Andover: fresh-flower tables and seating

Inside, wood-toned furniture paired with soft lighting made even a weekday lunch feel like a real occasion.

Our table had fresh flowers in it, and just looking at it brightened my mood.

Ordering was easy through the QR code on the table. It was nice being able to order while chatting comfortably without having to flag down staff.

The self-bar was kept tidy too, so grabbing water or extra dishes was easy. The tables were spaced generously, so we could chat comfortably without worrying about the next table over.

With the nice weather, a lot of people were sitting outside. Next time I'd like to try the outdoor seats too.
What we ordered at Andover and what it cost

The dishes we ordered that day were
- Cod gratin — ₩24,000
- Anchovy pasta — ₩21,000
- Burrata tomato salad — ₩19,000
- Galvanina Italian organic soda — ₩7,000
four dishes in total.

There were a lot of unfamiliar menu items so we agonized over the choices, but once it arrived the combination turned out great.
How did the cod gratin and anchovy pasta taste?

I honestly expected the cod gratin with grilled vegetables to taste fishy, but one bite in, it was clean and savory, and my spoon kept going back for more.

Piling the gratin on crispy bread with a vegetable on top made for a guilt-free, delicious bite, haha.

The charred vegetables had a sweetness and a touch of saltiness that was really tasty.

The anchovy pasta had a fairly generous portion. It had a spicy flavor that kept popping back into my head.

It wasn't too salty and had just the right level of spice, so I finished it happily without getting sick of it. It was a pasta you could enjoy comfortably with no fishy-taste worries.

The burrata tomato salad's cheese was soft yet chewy, and it was heavenly the whole way through.
Salads I've had before usually come with a sauce so sour it makes your eyes squint, but this one wasn't that tart. It actually tasted even better for it.
The Galvanina Italian organic soda was pleasantly tart with just the right amount of fizz, great for cleansing the palate between bites.
It wasn't too sweet or too flat — a perfect balance that had me sipping it continuously. The glass was pretty too, so I kept picking it up.

Every single item, even the pickles, was delicious. Nothing was overly seasoned, and it all felt healthy, so I just kept eating.
Is Andover worth a weekday lunch in Pangyo?

If you're looking for a Pangyo brunch restaurant, I'd tell you to give Andover a try. There were people drinking wine even in the daytime, so I bet the wine is just as good as the brunch.
Just sitting at a table with fresh flowers made the whole day feel special. If you're looking for a brunch spot with a similar vibe, I'd definitely recommend stopping by.
